Thanks for making this run. Always nice to see another GC TAS, and a new fighting game I hadn't heard of before. I hope you decide to make an improved run!

I'm not TASing them, I'm just playing them.
Then I recommend you test your games in endrift's mGBA. Like Anty-Lemon said, it aims to fix all bugs in GBA emulation. If the emulation issues are still there, please post your results here or through the bug reporting options on the site.

I've had that problem before, Dolphin crashing when a movie has Nunchuk data but yours isn't connected (and the reverse as well). Anytime you get a PlayWiimote error, I recommend checking the Nunchuk first.

I can't speak for the difference in FPS, as I've been too busy to play any videos, but forum pages containing the new modules load significantly faster now, so thank you for that. However, I'm experiencing a bug when posting in any thread with the new Nicovideo or YouTube modules where the posting page is resized (shrunk) to the size of the video module (plus margins?), which breaks several parts of the posting page. EDIT: It doesn't appear when editing posts, as the video modules are not present on the "edit post" page.

This is indeed in the correct subforum. There are threads for Gruefood Delight and Obsoletely Fabulous suggestions, but they are hard to find, especially if you never knew they existed. I agree with all of your suggestions, by the way.

Man, Kage sure is a hard worker when it comes to Paper Mario games. That was fast, Malleo! This should be a really entertaining run. I hope I'm able to catch the stream on pie's channel on Monday.

Looks good so far! I especially like the Rayman levels; hopefully the next level won't be too long so we can see more of those soon. Does Globox move faster after he drinks the plum juice? If so, could you drink from the barrel at 4:00 in the encode to move faster to the enemy you need to kill? Or does the plum power run out before you can reach him?

That was unexpected! It seems like getting more stars to save time would defy logic, but it makes sense after reading your explanation. Great improvement, yes vote!

I'm glad you uncancelled this, MUGG. Watching it again with it being publishable in mind, it's clear this run has pretty high technical quality. It's a cool idea for a game too; I hope it gets remade for a much newer console someday.

I was wondering if someone would do this game! You made it look easy, or at least a lot easier than it is to play. I didn't find it entertaining though, so I'm voting No.

That's oddly specific. Did someone actually do this recently?
I don't think so, but I know his idea is based on similar situations that actually happened. A few trolls have done #1, 2, and 4 before, though usually, their behavior is so out of control that they end up getting banned (and therefore never getting to #5).

Wow, that's some improvement! Looking forward to seeing the details of where all the time was saved in the submission text.

Really good work! It was cool to see you stack all those enemy combos, and make use of the partner's ability while attacking with Aang/Zuko (especially Dragon Breath!). You thought of plenty of surprising ways to use two attacks at once to save time. Is it possible, by waiting a few frames or entering different input, to make Azula throw more small fireballs instead of the huge ones? Or does she follow that same pattern every time? Also, in Level 2, around frame 15000, you held onto that charged fireball for a long time. Couldn't you have used it to help fill that red crystal or defeat the firs two enemies in the next room, and then started charging another one? Sometimes you stand still and wait for enemies to get into a certain position before attacking. You can skip this wait sometimes by changing your own character's position to make them move differently, into a position where they can get hit faster. I used to wonder how everyone found such cool glitches too. Basically, just play around with the game, while recording a movie so you have a record of whatever you find. Try things that the developers didn't expect you to do, and you just might find something useful. One common trick is making two things happen at once, which can lead to things like midair jumps and cutscene skips. Yes, frame advance is essential to making your TAS the fastest it can be, almost as important as savestates.

When I saw the title, I expected a video game adaptation of this. This was probably more interesting anyway. With the strategy and funny animations, I think this is good enough for Moons. (They would have to be turned off for it to be Vaulted anyway.) Voting Yes.

The run was played pretty well; there were some clever tricks used to get through harder stages (with shells) and the Yoshi tricks were entertaining too. However, I'm not sure about the quality of the hack. There are some problems with the implementation of the music and map screen, and loading times. Voting Meh for hack choice.

I think the luck manipulation makes this technically good enough for the Vault. No vote though, this wasn't entertaining.

Wait, so, this was in gruefood and then got published later?
The author had cancelled it by mistake, which sent it to Gruefood for a short time before it was uncancelled and judged as normal.

I haven't used the "Bind keyboard" feature much, but it should be useful for testing in the future, especially since it can be used to get around the bug that messes up the arrow key directions. I found the mouse movement feature really useful though, easier and more intuitive than the "Up 10", etc. menu options. Thanks for making this!
