I thought this was a pretty well done run, and I actually liked the jumping (he jumps like a monkey!). I did get bored in the middle of watching it, but I don't think you could've done much to help that; it was the game's fault. Voting Meh.

That was crazy...I can't believe a desync did that! I want to vote Yes, but I think I'll hold out for the actual run.

That was entertaining! It might be the first Lynx Moon movie once you finish it.

That was well done, Spikestuff! Just as entertaining as the PAL one. Voting Yes.

Ohh, emulation differences, of course. BizHawk emulates the BIOS, while VBA doesn't, so it probably is better emulation reducing all that lag.

From the best information I can find, 59.898fps is the nominal refresh rate of all lynxes.
Thanks for your responses, guys. Interesting, I wonder where that other number came from. I'll update the framerates page, then.

Many RPGs are long, which is good if you like games with a lot of content. You can always play for an hour at a time and then find a save point and continue later, in which case the length of the game won't matter anyway.

Looks good, solarplex! Just curious, but where did most of the time savings over the old run come from? Better firebender fights? I also created an entry for this game in the Game Select in case you want to post WIPs for this game.

Kadmony needs to be credited as a co-author in the publication.

Maybe an improved wallclip you used caused you to skip a trigger that would normally tell the game to save? Does this happen on other levels?

Wow, that was a solid-looking and entertaining run! Nice use of the different weapons (like Flashman's weapon). What a good idea to freeze the backwards-moving platforms in Metalman's stage! Voting Yes.

Also is this a collection of old games simply titled "Rockman Complete Works" with this being the 2nd game chosen or is it a sequel to "Rockman Complete Works" submission that was made a while back?
It's a sequel. Each of the first 6 Rockman games was released on its own individual PS1 disc.

I think that part should be kept since it is interesting and relevant to the run, but perhaps "feminist" should be changed to something else. I like PCachu's suggestion of "Girl Power"; it sounds innocent and positive, and fits the sentence you already have. It's up to you though.

Good job, I didn't notice any mistakes. The Omnidroid fight was pretty entertaining too.

Very nice! I like the hammer swings and speed glitch, and of course, the spring cancels.

Solarplex, which ROM version were you able to sync it on? I'd like to update the game version (and maybe fix that monospace text while I'm at it). EDIT: Thank you!

I thought we might see an improvement of this run now that LynxHawk is out. That walk is really funny, as are the people falling through the ground when you finish a level. Nice run, but voting Meh for entertainment.

The correct framerate is 59.89817311
Does that mean that this frame rate is incorrect as well? Was that one for a different model of the Lynx, perhaps?

"NES Super Metroid"?

VOTERS - Please note that I know this submission will get rejected, I do ask that this still be considered...since it is a real run in the Speed Running world (particularly AGDQ 2014). Please vote on the entertainment part and not that it is a submission that will be accepted by the rules.
Our rules are clear that a submission must complete the game. The Swordless Challenge run of The Legend of Zelda was a popular RTA category, and it got accepted because it completed the challenge and then used the sword to kill Ganon and abide by the rules. Your run would have to do something like that in order to be considered; we can't blindly accept every run category just because it's popular. If you want to show others your TAS but don't want it to be considered for publication, you can upload it to the movie storage space we have here. You can then feel free to link to your run in the Super Metroid thread or any other threads on your community's forum.

Oh, and it seems I can't simply offset RJ's addresses to find Verne's so I have to refind them every stage. :/
One thing you could try is remembering the differences between the position values for the first few frames of, for example, running forward on the X axis. Then, in a new stage, you could run forward and search for all addresses that are "different by" 5 on the first movement frame, 12 on the second, and 20 on the third. Repeat this for the Y and Z axes. This should narrow down the addresses enough to help you find the new ones on every stage. Nice WIP by the way. I liked how you stepped on the dog's legs in the Verne level, and that clipping glitch is funny.

That was pretty entertaining! Just from the amount of lag in the movie, you can imagine how much lag you must have reduced to make it as fast as it is. Yes vote.

I don't think it's serious. There's never been a monetary prize in a Dream Team Contest before, and Mothrayas would have mentioned if there was in this one. Also, MUGG's art is great. I managed to recognize everyone except the three people in the room next to Masterjun.

Since this is an Atari Lynx game, could someone please move this to the Atari Games subforum?
