Good improvement. Meh for entertainment, yes to obsoleting the currently published run.

Wow, I figured Lynx wasn't TASable yet, since I hadn't seen any published Lynx runs. Apparently it has been for a while. Nothing wrong with this TAS though, other than entertainment. Publish to the Vault!

Why?
He said "Reasons withheld." That means he won't tell you why even if you ask.

Thanks for the encode, Spikestuff. This run has very high technical value and is entertaining (that's a Yes vote).

Thanks for the encode, antd! Wow, this game is bad. I should have known Nintendo didn't make it. As for the run, it looks pretty good. Sometimes, you run off of slopes instead of jumping off of them though; does that waste any time? If the poll asked me if the run was entertaining, I would say No, but since it wants to know if it should be published, then sure, as long as it's not too unoptimized.

He probably just has really bad internet and it took him 7 months to upload it.
That still wouldn't be a good excuse for submitting it to the site. Even if his Internet was that bad, it would take fewer months to upload it to Microstorage and post the link in the forum (submitting takes a while).

Not impressive. There was no gameplay at all. You only pressed a few buttons on 3 frames and called it a run. Because of that, it's not entertaining, so it can't be published as a Moon, and it doesn't complete the game, so it can't be published in The Vault. There's really no place for this run to go but Gruefood.

Voted yes because I enjoyed this game a lot as a kid.
Uh...that's a reason to vote Yes? What if the run was horribly unoptimized?

Btw, it says non tas, but its also for tas, havent you seen the other topics?
I see one thread about a TAS competition, and it was by a member who was a newbie at the time and probably didn't bother to read the subforum description. (In fact, his thread should be moved elsewhere.) You know better than him though; this section of the site is for non-tool assisted movies only.

To answer the poll's question, yes, it should be published. It's still a Meh for entertainment though.

This is a funny little game, but I didn't find the run entertaining either. This really should go in Gruefood Delight though, like FractalFusion said in his judging statement.

Lol, good one. I guess since the run is made for entertainment, it would have to be published as a moon or not at all. And judging by the audience response, it probably won't be published.

Even if a bit unoptimized, it's hard to tell. The movement speed is still fast and fluid. I think this should be published.

This really is a bad game. I didn't mind the music that much, but the physics and graphics are terrible. And the ending makes no sense. Good job beating this so fast. I found it only entertaining because I've never seen the game before, but I don't care where this gets published. Meh vote.

It wasn't rejected because it wasn't entertaining. It was rejected because it's not impressive. Shouldn't a TAS be impressive?

Excuse me, what are you talking about?
He's either joking or bitter because his 96-exit run will be obsoleted by this.

Yes, that's currently the only way. You could bind buttons from different controllers to the same button, but there isn't currently a way to set specific angles for the joysticks of multiple controllers.

The commentary group was a great idea. Does it include runs with subtitled YouTube encodes, like the Cave Story run?

Uh, right. My bad. That was a Yes; it was entertaining because of the speed at which the ship blasted away the intruders and finished the level.
