I just remembered those times when I was trying to do something really hard, loading and loading state, and when I finally did it, I loaded state instead of saving. XD EDIT: There were also times that I was working in the movie file, and then after a while noticed that I was playing with read-only mode and movie was "Finished". Do you remember another stupid and funny case?

Watched in Mesen because BizHawk too slow (it synced perfectly). Everything was great until the end where I was confused... Meh.

Smooth (FBX) palette is the best palette I've seen for NTSC. This screenshot is from Nestopia but using this palette, it will be the same in FCEUX and BizHawk (and Mesen and other emulators)...

Not all RetroArch cores work in BizHawk, and as its MAME, it would never work until Libretro support improves...

Agree, I know from 2010 to currently it's being more exigent about encoding and publishing but this time is getting some exaggerated.

To connect all GBs it would require to emulate the 4 Player adaptor, only GBE+ emulates it so it may be hard to Alyosha (or someone else) to emulate it for BizHawk. So for now, if we want 4 player GB games we must hope its SGB enhancement to play it in BSNES. But I like your idea to connect each 2 GBs at once. The SGB enhancements requiring linking systems for 2 players you must have mentioned SGB2 instead xD.

FIRST! Okay, I have no much words for this movie, specially because I didn't even played the game, but once I watched it I feel it deserves a good review from me. The beginning was the less interesting due to the barrel warps, you use it almost all of the first levels, but I respect them because this tas aims for speed and its speed isn't disappointing, to the contrary! Well, I also liked how did you playaround the bosses, specially when most of them you make Dixie Kong fall many times and in the final boss Diddy Kong losses his life, karma? *thinking*... Also the final boss is so looooong even in a TAS, it deserves to appear in a Top 10 longest final boss battles! (?) Besides of the really high speed that I can't almost notice the game (well, is GBA, a handheld so its forgiven XD), it's movement is really nice, not really original because is far from being the first time of a movement like this, but isn't something to give a "nope". My favorite playaround was the level where you scroll up and it's seen like if you go through the walls so many times, at first I thought you broke that level but then I understood it, even after understanding that level I liked the way you played it. My opinion overall: congrats for making a movie that is too interesting to watch, it made me remember those moments where I was watching tas for the first time... every second of it wasn't worth, but isn't in that way to stop watching it. Take my yes vote.

Nice optimization! The funny thing about this game is that Mario jumps like in a Mario Hack I don't remember the name, and it's surprising that the author make the flagpole as the block and the block at the bottom as the flagpole. The game is also laggy that you touched some fire and nothing happened, nice thing to take advantage.

Well, it seems that in your settings there arent controllers connected (or thats what I think). But aside of this, BizHawk has some problems with binary/hex files, for example, to import FCEU files, you must import it to FCEUX and then import the fm2 in BizHawk. Also the PJM specifications page seems to be bad, seems to be like a hex and text file at the same time, the header is hex and the input is text, which as in the specifications page, it must be 2 bytes per controller and frame, and not a text line. So the problem is the input file and/or importing system in BizHawk :/

I wonder if this is a good idea to TAS, this game is great but for a TAS it would be very boring and repetitive, obviously it's only would be a choice for vault but I want to know what do you think about this game... Heh! Maybe I have to update to a newer interim or move to 2.3.1. VFW is the regular AVI Writer in BizHawk, where you can select only VFW compressors as Lagarith, CamStudio, Intel IYUV, Microsoft Video 1, etc. Feos, The "GB" core selection applies to normal GB as well as GBLink :p

I finally got a chance to upload the files! There are the 100 movies from FCEUX to Mesen and the other 15 movies from the past occasion where I "converted" from BizHawk to Mesen. I would like to list here the successful TAS but I want to finish this and avoid adding more things to do, at least I did the most important for this mini-project. Video encoding (VFW & FFmpeg) doesn't work with GBHawkLink core, curious, because GGHawkLink and Dual Gambatte works.

Well, even if Level 4-4 has that limit for example, I would still say it is possible to kill Bowser without the need to slowdowns, I don't even know how HappyLee does that but meh, I know it is possible.
