I'm currently working on a TAS for this game. I know there's a potential softlock in the first boss when you ground pound before the boss shows up. for whatever reason doing this despawns his tail and he takes no damage. not sure why this happens though.

I'm guessing sound difference isnt considered either. some GB games have the ability to use the SNES soundchip.

I've been having this problem as well. I'm able to record an AVI on 1.12.2 just fine but not on any later version.

Should probably mention that the movie file was a bit corrupted so that's why the rerecord count doesnt show up. I'll try to fix it later but the encode should say how many rerecords there were.

Other than just skipping the harder levels, no there isnt. Skipping the last levels gives you the real ending to the game while all levels just ends on the 100% screen. Edit: actually you still get the ending to the game but ThunderAxe reset the game to skip it.

What are those goomba sprites even supposed to be? it feels like a tech demo where developers messed around and put their faces in the game. not sure if this is different enough for publication, it pretty much is the exact same as SMB but with one different level and sprite changes.

Add this to another game I didnt know existed Very entertaining movement especially with some of the boss fights. Though I wish DK moved a but faster but that's just me. Definitely deserves a YES vote.
