That does not make it a TAS under the definition of what a TAS is. Tool-Assisted is to imply you use tools efficiently to speedrun a game, the use of a turbo button will assist you in getting a faster time, but it is not efficient enough in getting the fastest speedrun. Tools such as the one in most emulators like frame advance, savestates, ram watch, etc are all used to make an efficient speedrun, where as Turbo does not help you with direction, control, turning. that is somthing you have to do on your own.

Ive been getting the same desync issues that were in 2.3.3 on 2.4, however it only seems to be an issue with laggy GB games. It happened quite often in Zen Intergalactic Ninja.
All that was happening was some areas of inputs were not properly green zoned, there would be spots that were lighter in color compared to emulated frames (which are darker).

If this really was trivial to achieve then it shouldn't take effort to learn and perform this trick consistently.
EDIT: I even have tried to pull off the glitch myself and still havent achieved it. I am doing my best to understand how it work, but I believe the effort needed to learn how to do it is enough evidence that this is not trivial at all.
EDIT 2: I managed to get it by doing the easier jump method but I have not been able to get it the way the TAS does it, it is incredibly frame perfect to get.
EDIT 3: I got it exactly how it is in the TAS, but only after trying to get it after 30 tries.
I was then able to get it every 5-15 tries afterwards. The fact that so many people can get this time doesnt make it Trivial, because it just a frame perfect trick that is short enough that people can try and try it again until they get it. If it was Trivial, then I would be getting this trick consistently with every try.

I think my only issue with this run was the camera being stupid. I know this is not the fault of the tasers here since Cameras in Sonic games are infamous for being really bad. I just wish there was a hack of some sort that could show the path being taken better.

I did not find this movie entertaining mostly due to the end stage early stuff. I think that ruins most of the entertainment aspect for me (even with the graphics fix it’s still unsatisfying). I would much rather see a movie that avoids them, I think that would be much more entertaining to watch. No vote.

So submissions can be rejected if they become so optimized that there’s no way to get faster or at least not tie with WR? I get why some games like Barney have this rule in place but I find it really unfair for actual games like this. What we’re essentially saying is we cannot reach the pinnacle of a fastest known record at all, and that doesn’t feel right to me.

My guess is the publication is using the 60.098813897441 refresh rate instead of the flat 60 that snes9x uses, however I'm getting conflicting results.
So for flat 60, it would be 15:57:53
But for some reason when done with 60.098813897441, we get 15:56:19
