Shmups aren't good TAS material. TASing a shmup only gives a movie that doesn't look like a TAS. I think the only good shmup TAS is [711] NES Gradius by adelikat in 10:52.35. Sorry mate, I'm voting No.

This is why it is HIGHLY recommend you use Lagarith to capture, as all the duplicate frames will take almost 0 bytes. It should NOT take 500+ GB to capture at 1920x1440 res. Note: I have added this to my queue of things to encode, but it will be a while.
I forgot that Lagarith exists. lol Anyway, it's up to you Aktan.

I could make a youtube encode, but I'm not sure if it would be acceptable as an official encode because they always seem to be 1080p nowadays (I can only capture at 720p), so maybe it's better to leave it to someone like flygon?
I'd like to try, but the only problem is, even with 580 GB of free hard drive space, I'm not sure it's enough space. And also, I'd like to know the real rerecord count. Can someone find it?

I absolutely second that!

That's a nice TAS! Voting Yes! And I'd really like to TAS or to see a TAS of a GC or Wii Super Monkey Ball game! Oh, and there's also that DS game.

Yes! clip.PointResize(width, height) But again, this thing is for 2D graphics.

You can't do this with PSX 3D games, for the moment. But for 2D games, we output at the console's native resolution (like 320x240 for PSX), and then we do a point resize in AviSynth.

Would this mean x2poet submitted an unjudgable movie? I hope not, since it's a great movie and it should be accepted, IMO.

It would be stupid to use anything but this screenshot for publication.

That's quite entertaining. It gets a Yes vote from me. Did you know that game was the base of that pirated Mario Genesis game?

Considering the lack of a YouTube link, I've made an HD encode. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hO6aEEVPufA[/url]

But Flygon made the encode before you... Sorry, but I'll take Flygon's stuff (and your Dailymotion stream), since you made a mistake in the file's name (this is not gstick's v2), and Flygon was first. Sorry about that.

For some reason, the movie became "new" and I can't publish it. So here's the movie on Archive.org, for those who can pass trough that weird site bug. http://www.archive.org/details/SnesLamborghini-AmericanChallengemoneyGlitchByLaranja

I don't think X360 can output 480i period.
Yes it can. I played in 480i before I got my HD monitor. I'll probably somehow try Brushy's idea. I think I'm gonna remove the cap that covers the cable's console connector. I'll see if that works.

The title says a big part of it. First of all, I'm playing with my Xbox 360 (not the Slim one) using an HDMI cable to my HD monitor. Second, I have a Dazzle USB Capturing device (DVC-100) that can capture SD signals from S-Video or composite A/V. I've been trying to connect both HDMI and composite/component cables on my console, and they won't even fit together! So I wonder one thing. Can the Xbox 360 broadcast an HD 1080p signal and a 480i signal at the same time? If so, can I buy a composite cable that would fit with the HDMI cable on the Xbox 360? Note: I'm too cheap to buy an HD capture card.
