^i have found it's really common for people want to study psychology on the basis they would heal themselves first through the course and afterwards the others, but the more significant part is really consulting with a therapist yourself, are you guys doing anything like it?If you're not,do you know why not?

wow,i'm quite amazed to read all these things about the members of the community,i'd never have guessed that so many of you are in such pain.I don't mean it disrespectfully but all of you accomplish(or contribute,if you don't find accomplish to be the right word) so much to the site,i kinda imagined you all not only to be happy but sucessful with your own personal matters and lives. We all have our demons to fight. I also believe it's a good idea to open our hearts here,GodessMaria.Respect for the dead is cool and all the jazz, but the living do have a priority. This thread might just be another great contribution from RachelB herself.I don't mean to disregard death as a meaningful event, but we ought to make the best out of such a sad event.I hope you don't take it personally. Also, this makes me think how to gather all the lonely people together so they can find friends who understand what they're going through.Does anybody know of support groups or programs like that?

is there a normal run for this game already?pacifist TASes usually have a precedent run that plays the game only with speed in mind.

i'd personally prefer the tas to be "verification file movie"-less instead of having a complete save file to do it. clear memory TAS ftw

i just sold my megaman 64,that's really sad..can you eventually do some videos of this glitches/applications?i already watched your recent run using the energy storage but can't tell if you used the kick(i believe you haven't).Can you use the kick glitch to reproduce that OoB in the ruins that is usually done with the jetskates?I'm not sure if it was a matter of speed or hitbox to go through that and it could change some routes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=joFA_d111xc Edit: Random japanese video with out of bounds in the initial forest: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_wi6STSf-8

i found that very complete, but i'd still like some answers about the default settings for speedrunning doom, i think the other run had different settings EDIT: How to playback the run? There are at least three options: 1. The original Ultimate Doom v1.9. Use the following command line: "doom.exe -playdemo e2dq-302.lmp" 2. Prboom 2.2.3 (or later version). You just need the original doom.wad file, which contains the level data etc. Drag and drop the LMP file to the prboom.exe and the run should begin. 3. Eternity engine: "Eternity.exe -iwad doom.wad -playdemo e2dq-302.lmp" Assuming you are a Windows user, get Prboom here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/prboom-plus/files/prboom-plus/2.5.1.3/prboom-plus-2.5.1.3-win32.zip/download You can find the various Doom source ports for your operating system here: http://www.doomworld.com/classicdoom/ports/ Aqfaq's comment about Strafe50 Strafe50 is always on. This means the player can turn while strafe running at max speed, which is supposedly impossible. It makes nearly no difference in the run (maybe a few frames), but makes recording the game A LOT easier (hours of work). Any sane person who makes Doom TASes should use it. IMO, this is technically less drastic than pressing left+right simultaneously, which has always been allowed. So, I think using strafe50 while turning is totally okay. -- IS THIS THE SAME?

too fast to comprehend, voted no.Loljk doom is too good and so are you! EDIT: i can't help but notice the SR50 setting is different from the last run, doom players should discuss the standards eventually
