Don't get me wrong,i love bomberman TASes,i just want to warn you how much harder it will be to get it published(i wish i had these tools in my knowledge but there are few bomberman fans in speedrunning, just as other games i wish to see more speedruns) RNG will combine item layout with block layout for the fastest combination possible.

If you can get some help with people who are keen on RNG,memory adresses and these kinds of sorcery,it would be very helpful. My TAS for bomberman 3 was very criticized for not having these, also,it eventually became clear that speed shoes are very important to be collected and even if you finish an earlier stage faster without them, the speed will snowball into faster stage completions later(specially with soft block/wall passthrough item).Go to the discussion page and see it for yourself; http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13949

This game is the bane of TASing, everybody gets scared and gives up,even after tasvids giving input about it not having to be perfect but really optimized, maybe everybody could just let their WIPs in the thread so other ones improve it someday?(co-authoring)

If Hard poses no significant difficulty in terms of new game behavior besides slowing you down,it might be acceptable to use a more lenient difficulty for more skips(provided you find some).

There are 100% runs for real time in this game, but they don't use the most broken shortcuts possible,it would be really cool to see the broken-ness of the any% with the whole game completed. Also, you would use many different strats in the game.

The Hard Mode rule can be bypassed if difficulty only means a higher repetition of the same pattern,we should ask the author about it.

Guys, the fact the stages don't look completed is a skip in itself, the ending has been reached anyway. You either have a all stages TAS from now on,or you just go directly to ending screen like this one. This game has no post-game material in order to make it feel more or less complete. Super yes vote.

To me,this is a correction of the actual gameplay, going OOB is much more respectful to player and viewer alike than actually playing the game normally.
