Basically, there's a new gaming generation coming round the corner (PS3, Wii, Xbox 360, DS) and even consoles gone past (PSone) that have not been TASd at all. And even only the surface of N64 has been scratched. Is this as far as it will go? Will we never get to perfect the games of future generations? Also, will TASing die off in future due to catridges being obsolete and consoles being downright impossible to emulate (Nintendo DS)?

Haha, sorry, never meant to dig up old coffins. Yeah, and i knew about the Hexediting but i didn't trust myself with it. Just asking if there was another way. Anyways, it's a negligible change to be made.

I just e-mailed them eventually. Was rather straightforward actually, but i can't think how i would ever think of it. Anyways, my movie is now submitted, Toy Story, take a look if you so desire....

Yes, the first driving stage was an odd one. Haha. Strangely the traction on the road seemed to get better as the level went on, and even with 6% speed and frame advance the early corners were overly tight. However, hitting the walls only lost real time if hit directly on a face. If you drove up the sides like i had to do it didn't make much difference.

My speed run's just gone up on the new submissions page. I did it in about 23 minutes playing time, but have a look for yourself...

Darn....a toy story run. Thought i'd pull a fast one and get mines done before anyone else had the thought. Personally, i didn't use the invincibility cheat. When it is done the star spins meaning the game knows what's going on i.e. a cheat in my view. However, you DO need to take damage to get the fasest time.

Hey, just tried my first proper TAS on the N64. I did about 10 minutes and played back to see how it looked. The video played but not as i had done i.e. i was running into walls and the buttons i pressed were shown in the video at the correct time just not the right place. Dunno if this is a stupid question though...
