Guys where do I donate? Seriously, right now I'm with my girl and we are in the middle of watching a Super Mario World casual run called "Me Failing at SMW", complete with popcorn and drink, and we are fucking LOVING IT!!!!! Seriously this is way way WAAAAAAAAAAY better than watching anything on cable television! And adelikat....the movie snapshot/savestate trick is the BOMB!! I love how you can "rewind" anytime you want by using movie snapshots! It's so awesome. I can't believe this website isn't more popular than it is. I mean seriously.....WHERE IS EVERYBODY??? Are there that gamers these days who don't appreciate what kind if enjoyment old school emulation brings to the table? Pffft....kids these days. Absolutely pathetic. I'm 37yrs old and watching these replay files not only brings back memories, but I'm having some of most enjoyable moments in all my time in gaming, right as I type this. So fucking cool. So again, where do i donate?
Wow, I'm shocked. You're enjoying something without msys.

Oh yeah adelikat , does that save state resume trick work on input files for other emus such as MAME, NES, etc?
I don't know about MAME. But it should work pretty much for all emulators we put out. See: Wiki: EmulatorResources

Can you tell me if it's at least THEORETICALLY possible to implement a bookmarking feature into the emulator? If not, can you say why? Im just curious.
It's possible.

Heck, if you're feeling generous enough, perhaps you can explain why I've been told it's impossible to implement a rewind feature for all emulators as well ;P
I would explain otherwise.

If It's XML with lots of spaces, I recommend bz2 for compression.

Ah, my mistake then. Also would've liked to see Kitana's decapitation and Reptile's eat your face completed, but oh well.

I like this game a lot, and I think the run was decent but could be a bit better. No Shang Tsung soul stealing fatality? For shame! Abstaining from voting till I watch this a few more times.

So I finally got around to watching this. It was nice to see a different Metroid game for a change. However, I found this game to be rather bland. There was nothing about it that really left me wanting to see it completed. No intro or scenes to give me an idea what the objective is. All I see is the need to blow up some doors here and there. Then the variety within the game isn't too great either. The frequency at which the same rooms are entered over and over again in close proximity is rather high. *Nach yawns profusely.

Nice to finally see another game from my todo list taken. Thanks! Did you figure out why some levels have Wario blazing past the bonus room, and some he only trots by? I used to think it was tied to how many coins I had, but that seems to not be the case here.

Mister Epic: I think the banners in your case would look better at the top of the screen.

So? We haven't used Memcache since we transitioned from Bisqwit's server to ours. We use XCache instead which is listed right below it.

This may serve as a reminder, but if you wish to continue to receive faster seeding from other users in the swarm, UPDATE YOUR CLIENTS! It is extremely superficial that you receive the most secure, reliable, and up-to-date version available for your BitTorrent client.
Would you please go into more technical detail on why updating your bittorrent client would improve seeding? (This is not a counter-argument. I'm just curious.)
Well, various new BitTorrent related technologies do come out from time to time. Various forms of HTTP seeds or trackerless sharing. Not to mention local network discovery and other junk. If an old version didn't implement some of these things, but a newer version did, there's a chance for the later version to provide better sharing.

Well the good news is that votes in and of themselves don't carry that much weight with the judging process, it's only a loose indicator. Posts which explain why they voted yes or no carries much more weight. Then the judge can deem if such a vote is in fact relevant or not, or it was only made because it was the player's ex-wife or similar. Also, if a run has 100+ votes one way, a few votes the other way won't matter much.
