You think we'd give up so easily? Just wait and see :3
So should I expect a frame war here?

New version uploaded.

I'm curious why, in the categorization of movies by system, DOS, Windows, and MSX are lumped in together. The three have very little in common in terms of hardware they run on, or software that emulates them, or tricks that are supported.
DOS and Windows have very little in common in terms of hardware they run on? I thought they run on the exact same hardware.
I thought the same thing when reading it. Also that DOS and Windows run on many of the same emulators. But then I realized Radiant probably means DOS and Windows vs. MSX.

Not consciously it wasn't. At the time, we had >50 runs on the workbench, most of them very old, and the thing needed massive cleanup, and it looked really similar to a run listed in the continuance list. Honest mistake really. Since then, I've been editing the list to link to submissions/publications as they come in.

New version of TVCMan (v1.3) has been uploaded. What's New:

  • Libraries updated (Fixes against new TLS attacks).
  • Switched to new SQL library (cleaner code).
  • Path parsing now looks for / and \ instead of platform specific slash, to ensure various custom scripts work well.
  • MD5 hashing now displays a progress bar.
  • Windows builds displays hash/upload progress in title bar.

Though that is just a label. The movies can be found among the official games for each console. I know they used to be put in a separate "Concept Demos" section, but that has been removed at some point in time. I'm not exactly sure why.
There is a discussion on exactly this topic, with more elaboration. And turska said it best with: "The vast majority of these movies would greatly improve just about any page that's lucky enough to be graced by their presence."

Okay, I fixed our PHP on the server, uploading in chunks >=4GB should now be possible.

I notice we have a couple of no/meh on this. Can those who voted so explain their rationale? Thanks.

I tracked down the bug an found it in PHP. It would be nice if they fixed the bug: https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=64187 You can go there and (without an account) vote that the bug is important to you, and that you want it fixed.

I don't know what to tell you, things are working fine here. You'll have to be more specific.

The problem with Snes9x is not a huge one when we realise that the issue with using Snes9x does not apply to SMW as the only glitches used are emulator independent. Thus the only benefit from switching emulator would be changes in lag.
Those are hardly the only differences. Perhaps in overall gameplay, lag may be the biggest factor. However, Snes9x 1.4x's sound engine is horrible compared to all the other SNES emulators, especially the most modern ones. If you'd like to find noticeable differences in SMW, pay attention to the sound between acquiring a powerup, as well as spin jumping.

But sadly, I have to mention this, I wonder if this might be qualified to be published(no personal offense, I voted yes on this, too). Do we have to accept TAS of the game which is unofficial, made just 3 months ago, while its predecessor didn't make it?
Whether its predecessors made it or not is not really relavent. The main question to ask, does this game and this run fix the flaws, or overcome the flaws that made the prequels unacceptable?

The mechanics of this game are a bit different than its NES counterpart, notably pipe travel time is shorter. Did you test if pipes in various levels can save time?

If you want to try a game no one has TAS'd before, I recommend: Joy Mecha Fight If you want to try to TAS something really popular, but using a new branch, try Super Mario Bros 3 "All Stages". We have plenty of resources for this.
