I am repeating myself a bit here, and I'm a bit venting my frustration, so I apologize. But... Now that the site has been regularly experiencing connectivity issues it sometimes happens that it logs you out for some reason. The extremely, extremely annoying "feature" of the current forum software that if you log out it will mark all topics read (I don't know if this is intentional or a bug, or something else) can be really frustrating. Dozens and dozens of unread posts, gone. *puf* Then you have to just try to guess in which threads there might be posts you missed. Any plans to even try to upgrade to a newer version of phpbb (where I assume most bugs have been fixed)?
I doubt newer version of phpBB will solve the issue if it still ties viewing to sessions. We're currently having an issue with MySQL which affects PHP sessions which I doubt has little to actually do with the version of phpBB.

Seems that it also allows movies with "Too few votes to display" to be on the list...
I'm not really sure that's a bug. While the site won't display it, it will still rank it. If you actually want to know what the site rates it, you can also check the RSS feed for the movie, it'll display its rating even when the site won't.

I'm assuming you missed a "not" in there somewhere.
Me too, and I'd like to know where.

No. I'm at least a month away from submission.
That's not soon? Considering how long the last run took from submit to publish, a bit over a month is relatively a short time. How much time savings do you have by the end of level 3 compared to this run?

Cardboard, do you think you'd be submitting your run any time soon? Do people want two branches damage and no damage? I'm personally leaning towards one, whichever is faster and carries the most entertainment.

What qualifies as real programming work? The most complex thing I've undertaken is (figuring out how it should work and) making an automated difficulty agent for an online flash rhythm game.
Make something ~2000 lines? Figured out APIs of existing platforms?

You didn't ask if there are Java programmers here. You asked if someone wants a job. Different question.
Good point. Still, I thought I'd get a good half dozen people looking for a job with Java skills that'd be interested. As of five minutes ago, I only got half that.

That might even be shrinking. With Microsoft's push for standard HTML and JS in Windows 8, and Microsoft's Going Native initiative and conferences, some wonder if .NET will even be around a decade from now.

We need an all stages run, and to obsolete an existing run.

I just noticed a pretty serious oversight we've had till now. This movie is actually an "all stages" run of SMB3, not just a "warpless" run. Someone should obsolete this for real, in the same branch.

Company is in Hong Kong, but it's not relavent because the employees are spread around the globe.

We make different web based systems work together, and also provide some desktop applications to get a better experience out of web applications.

My company is looking for a Java programmer. Maybe someone here is interested? Requirements: Reasonable knowledge of software development. Experience developing with Java, especially Java Server Pages. Is passionate about their work. Can work with a team. Knows the basics of using Linux. Knows the basics of C, C++, PHP, and JavaScript is a plus. We don't care if you have a degree or not, as long as you know your stuff. We need ~20 hours a week. The position is long term, expect to be employed for a year, if not several. You can work from home, and we're quite flexible regarding the hours one works. If you're interested, let me know. Please send a resume. Also give me an idea of when you'd be able to start working. Let me know which country you're in, and if you're currently employed full or part time, or are a student. Please also include a rough idea of a salary you'd be expecting.

Thanks for doing games on my list. By any chance, do you want to set the date when TASing to one of the developer's birthday's so you enable extra hard mode? May 16 Scott Host August 28 Rich Fleider October 2 Jim Molinets

I have a bit of a dilemma that I would like everyone's thoughts on. I want to limit the amount of branches we have for this game, and one could come up with dozens of variations, and we really need to lock it to four or five. We have a Zero "all stages" run, a proposed X 100% run, and now this X+Zero high collection achievement. X 100% is a very clear goal, it gets 100% collection possible with just X. Once you have both X and Zero, the situation is no longer so clear cut. What combinations of goals do people want to publish here? What do they feel is entertaining? Should all 3 be published? Should this run replace the one from last week? Should it replace the Zero "all stages" run as a larger category?

The branch name for this 100% isn't accurate. it does not collect all the items, some of them are mutually exclusive.
