Sorry, I wasn't really talking about the Mario 64 authors, I was talking about how No votes can cause people to spaz out and cry. I guess I mixed up. Sorry SilentSlayers & sonicpacker & Moltov & Kyman & Johannes. Lol.

I WANNA TELL A STORY TOO!!!!1!one The Banana There once was a banana who was the color of puke. The banana got mocked at his banana school, and it made him cry and feel bad. So one day, he decided to go to apple school instead. BUT... He discovered he had to be an apple to get into apple school. But the banana wouldn't give up. He went to the library and rented a book called how to be an apple. It said in order to be an apple, you need to be red. So the banana took out a knife and stabbed the librarian. He was now covered with blood from head to toe. Then the book said he needed to be round. He went to the local McDonalds for lunch. He was now round. The banana was now an apple. The main problem was that he still tasted like banana. So then he went to go get genetically reproduced so that he would taste like an apple. He then went to apple school and lived happily ever after. That is until he took a shower. The blood washed off and underneath, he was puke yellow! What a shit-flipper! He got kicked out of apple school and had to go back to banana school. The end. See? THAT WAS A VERY INCREDIBLEY GENETIC STORY. You're welcome for it.

I only just watched this yesterday. It was okay. I haven't played this game ever, so I'm not really familiar with it. I don't know if it's hard or easy.

I found this marginally more interesting than the regular Skyroads movie, and it's definitely more difficult. I approve of publishing this alongside the regular game.

Coincedentally, I looked at laughing_gas' Starwars movie yesterday and wondered "Can this be improved?" LOL. I thought it was funny that this showed up when it did. Will watch at lunch time. EDIT: Okay, I watched at lunch but did not get a chance to comment till now. Work is lame sometimes. Anyhow, the run looked good. I found it to be a perfect length for such a game. And the optimization level was pretty high. Good work. Anyone up for improving Mission Impossible? XD

I watched a bit of the comparison video, and the improvements really stuck out. I thought Arne's TAS was great, but wow.

There was really nothing very interesting about this game. Corner boosting was cool, I suppose, but this game is just too dry. You do realize that this wasn't really meant to be a "game?" It was just so the author could practice programming VGA scripts. The lack of music and mediocre sound, ick. It's like TASing these.

Got repetetive, but I liked it a bit, because I loved this game as a kid. Lolol. This is a real easy game, so the no damage wasn't very impressive though.

I found this boring and stale. It seemed to just be running away every couple of seconds, and the fact it was Japanese didn't help matters. Thanks for encoding Velitha.

If it is sub optimal, I am not wasting my time watching. I don't want to waste 6 hours every time an improvement is submitted.

Yes. TASing is not playing the game, and thus, I still find games fun. TASing is creating and is fun because you get to see a game pushed to it's limits. Meanwhile, playing the game in realtime is fun because you feel rewarded when you beat a hard challenge, and unlike TAS, you don't have to aim for fast as possible, so you can enjoy more of the game without flipping out into crazy glitching and skipping levels.

ZSNES is a very good emulator, but SNES9X is better for TASing. I really loathe SNES9X though because it crashes a lot.

The game often creeps to a halt and causes me to die, and the controls need a bit of work. I can get to about 95 before getting bored.

Voted yes because I TASed this game before and it's nice to see other TASers take interest in it as well. I find this game entertaining because it's kinda what I imagined my TAS as when I first made it. Good job!

I don't think it is. There have been a/v desync problems with your encodes for a long time and I don't see those problems with anyone else's encodes on Youtube. What kind of encoding methods are you using?
No, it's YT's fault. I rewatched the entire raw and nothing went wrong.[/quote]

Did not enjoy. It was slow to me.
Femke's right here. If you think it was too slow, blame the game choice, not the optimization. I had to wait for a marble to take position before I could shoot the next one.
lol, sorry if I was too vague.
