Flash games I've seen people ask for in the youtube comments: Super Mario Crossover, Ultimate Flash Sonic, Super Mario 63, Run, Fireboy and Watergirl, Robot Dinosaurs That Shoot Beams When They Roar, Swords And Sandals 2, Exit Path 1 & 2, Diamond Hollow 2, Bowja the Ninja 3, Red Ball 4, Doom 2D, Give Up, Suicide Salaryman. (I didn't check which of these do or don't work in Ruffle, just documenting it.)

A new TAS for my favourite category, Map Corruption%! It's too bad the new way to corrupt the map isn't as aggressively glitchy as the old one, but the few times you explore glitchy worlds in menus and by going out of bounds still delight, and you can't fault this big of an improvement in efficiency. Yes vote!

All the Up+B glitches had me cackling. Very impressive that your bot organically found and exploited these with no prior knowledge.

At first it appears to be a slow paced, derivative mountain climber game. But by the second half of the TAS, you execute some very difficult and creative maneuvers that are both exciting and death defying, and I was impressed. Plus, at the end of the day, giving an impossible game an even more impossible perfect run only feels right!

A mundane premise that when TASed turns into a particular kind of comedy. Drive twice the speed limit, veer wildly across both lanes of the road, dodge the police repeatedly, get teleported by a mysterious magical man - all to get your family to a vacation in record time. Just another day in the life of Mr. TAS.

What? What?? What??? This has got me cackling good. Nice work. I do wonder about one thing - was it strictly necessary to flip the game 180 degrees in the ghost house? I kind of assumed that since you had a cape you could do anything. I don't know if it was literally impossible without doing that, or a 'for fun' thing to keep the TAS well paced and natural feeling.

This is a very specific kind of motivated, high-effort spite that warms my heart. I especially love how Megaman comes to a dead halt after arriving the ladder like 'that's right bitch'. No celebration, no wiggle, just cold hard facts TASed as fast as possible.

Looking at tracelogger it seems more to be just a crash (also ACE to boot, lol)

Welp, every 'fastest crash' is just an 'arbitrary code execution' waiting to happen!

Short and superhuman and optimized. What's not to love? I love the 'shoot on alternating sides of the shield' maneuver, the near misses and the perfectly aimed final shot.

Using the file name to commentate your own TAS is next level genius. I laughed, I cried, I was moved.

I've never seen a fastest softlock that's almost identical to any%... What happened and why can't you do it any sooner?

This is pretty funny for an April Fools joke, lmao. The police cars just hurtling overhead as their sirens blare is some amazing physical comedy. Also, what was up with the physics glitch at 30:40? How did all of that happen without making any input? Was it part of the route or just an amusing coincidence? LOL

A classic flash game with some delightfully inhuman play to boot. I love the glitch where you put a portal under a door to clip through it, or you reach through a ceiling to hit a button. Chell is SO powerful and it's utter chaos. This year is going to be great for TASes, I can already tell!

I never saw this game before! A delightful Worms-like with its own aesthetic and a focus on setting up multikills each and every turn. Yes vote! Sleeping with the fishes!

I just now heard of an in-development NES emulator called MetalNES, with the goal of being a transistor level simulation. If it finishes, it may be the last word in console-accurate NES TASing, but I bet it will also be horrendously slow, so it should only be resorted to when faster emulators desync. https://github.com/iaddis/metalnes

Loved it. TAS Goose is unstoppable. For comparison, the RTA is 2:05.9 seconds, so 5 seconds slower than this TAS. https://www.speedrun.com/goose/run/m37250wz It looks like the same route, but the RTA runner has trouble getting the clips. (They're all brutal finicky physics shit to my understanding.) I didn't measure to find out if this TAS also saved time during non-clip sections.

Watched this with my brother and a relative (Nick and Remy). While the TAS starts off as go from point A to B and you start thinking about how much more exciting any% or 100% would be, the TAS later justifies its existence as the strategies required to go to the end fast become zanier, with my highlights being Haunted Towers and Lofty Castles. A good amount of laughs and nostalgia was had. Yes vote!
