ThunderAxe31 for giving me physical pain. The8bitbeast for dedicated work making the Crash Bandicoot TAS which was in development for quite a long year. AleMastroianni for producing the TAS that was basically in hell for the longest amount of time with Bugs Bunny.

The time has come, to revive the three: #5886: Spikestuff & MESHUGGAH's Vboy Nester's Funky Bowling "Perfect Game" in 01:24.30 #6321: Spikestuff's A2600 Bowling "perfect game" in 01:25.71 #6969: Spikestuff's SNES Super Bowling "Perfect Game" in 01:41.13 With the other 3 currently on the bench that was delayed for a clause that prevented bowling. These three return with the triviality clause that held them back removed. So. A proper game of bowling. Where does that end up? Will the other 3 join the reject bunch or will there be 6 acceptable "Perfect Games"? All I know is one thing. Bowling.

Well figure out how to remove the major discrepancy without removing that splash. You made the TAS in 6 hours. Some time in dealing with that should've been made first.

To sync this TAS, you need to slowly frame advance while it's paused (around 1 frame advance per 5 to 10 seconds IRL) or otherwise will desync on inconsistent loading screen, please let me know if it still desyncs after several tries.
Author didn't validate for a system that would work when dealing with a Newgrounds title showing ads which is something that has been done in One Chance and MURDER.

Two things, and one of these is going to be solved by me.
  1. You use the Cross button to advance through menus. All face buttons (Circle, Cross, Square, Triangle) advances onwards. So those downtime moments can be improved by a few frames.
  2. The input ends late and is also missing a CycleCount (and ClockRate), I corrected that for the Judge which can be found here.
Lastly, placing a shotgun claim for publication. Edit: I don't see it properly outlined by the author so I'm just going to both explain the branch, but also suggest the nuking of it. The game defaults you on Easiest difficulty in the Options. There's a total of 5 difficulties: Easy, Normal, Hard, Professional and Expert. Professional and Expert do not allow items to be on track. Ideally for a TAS, Easy being the default difficulty wouldn't need a branch, this TAS would also have a fair challenge with one that's done on Hard. Expert, being the polar opposite would require a branch (and also need to be done) appropriately labelled "Expert". You can't call it "Expert, no items" as it's part of the difficulty description. Lastly "Championship Race" is all the races, this is again a default mode where you race through all 5 tracks. Comparatively more straight forward than say what we have for F-Zero, but I personally believe more inline with Chocobo Racing. So on a technicality this is "Championship Race" which is a default mode, which doesn't need a branch compared to a hardest difficulty run.

So, multi video track has been placed on the mirror link: (Original showcased for demonstrative purposes.) But that doesn't mean I didn't make single video tracks, cause I did: And if for whatever reason I'm not here in the future, and something happens to the encode... here's the script for the Reduced Flashing.

difficulty seems to max out there at the third wave onwards, where the invaders start pretty much on top of the barriers and are firing a whole lot more. I suspect that, this being as faithful of a port as it is, the same difficulty cap should also happen here.
You can confirm this easily by transplanting your input across on the waves after just as a note.

I'm just going to cross-post my comment from the other submission onto here as the same Donkey Kong input was used across both movies.

Hello Crushie and welcome to TASVideos. There are multiple visible issues that exist in this TAS. But before we do go through that, I'll mention the elephant in the room for you. In DKClassics the ladder glitch does not exist. However, because of that we can compare that on a surface level to a previous TAS made by Phil back in 2005 which was done on Game B and doesn't contain the ladder glitch. A more modern, comparison to DKClassics which removes the surface level comparison is this movie file I made which is faster by 490 frames. By no means what I made is perfect either. It has issues at Elevator section but it showcases what should be done, which is also outlined in other previous TASes. When crossing past ladders that you aren't climbing, a quick Up, Down saves several frames (Down, Up for when they're below you). This TAS also started out as an "all items" one before neglecting an item of Pauline's and in fairness the Original Edition TAS fills out that quota. Please take your time and use the tools available to you in FCEUX and use the userfiles. Go again when you've optimized all you can.
As for Donkey Kong Jr. there are issues that can be directed by pointing to the standalone version of it which I'm only going to point to it on the surface level instead of diving into it. Heavily recommended to watch this movie and see what the authors achieved.

Hello Darwen and welcome to TASVideos. Please make sure that your input ends appropriately. In SMB's case it's axe grab, this is just a simple fix, but doesn't validate where the input ends. The major thing is that Super Mario Bros. has been drained dry and this TAS is several seconds slower than what's Published: [1715] NES Super Mario Bros. "warps" by HappyLee in 04:57.31 As well as being unfortunately slower than that of a human runner as well. Please take your time and use the tools available to you in BizHawk and use the userfiles. Go again when you've optimized all you can Edit: This was not intended to be submitted, and instead was meant to be placed into the userfiles.

Already exists. Edit: Oh wait you're talking about the other thing. Here's a thing, don't ask about it as a demand, and ask civilly on the forums or Discord. Edit 2: Or alternatively since this is a complaint about System Time. Read the libTAS documentation, the actual thing you're using to create the TASes in the first place.

Ignoring the Atari console ports. For my memory sake. Doesn't the Invaders become progressively more aggressive as time goes on til a specific level where it becomes static or am I just misremembering?

And even if it wasn't aiming for fastest time the playaround from 2008 is more entertaining and also faster. I dislike that I'm starting to sound like a broken record but again eladogGames. Just pointing out since both of the TASers have an RTA background, so it's mainly for them. "any%" is not a category used on TASVideos it's usually represented by just being blank.
