Yay, Test Your Skills and Ice Physics... I thought I only had to do it once... I was wrong. Edit: Never Mind. Just saved 100 Frames and got a time of 14.5 Remaining (5.5).

Had a little screw around with this game. The fastest movement is jumping. But. You're doing it wrong. This is related to the landing part. Yours (for example):

You need to drop a direction in order to go further faster. I'll post my file in a bit when I'm done with the first level. Edit: Left: My Input Right: Your Input + My Correction Input Link to video You see "lol vba" because vba is actually ahead of GBChawk so I edit it so they start the level together to show a proper comparison. Link to video Didn't abuse at 0:29 because it was slower. Didn't jump at 0:31 because it's a floor you can go through. Would send userfile... but issues.

Game bad to begin with. Wasn't entertained. Acceptable. Meh. Edit: It's safe to say you didn't take your time with it with the button mashing and holding input in lag frames. A Corrected Version 61 frames saved (Majority Input: Yours). I would look into it more... but hell no*. Still sticking with Meh. *All I touched was the starting input and ending input.

Now this is a bug if you don't have a gba bios. Open up a game from a console other than the GBA. Then Open up a GBA game. Hit No. You will now have the previous console still being mentioned at the top. When I did this with GBC to GBA entered the Gameboy settings I get this error: Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. Hitting Continue will ignor- yadda, yadda you've seen the start to this thousands of times. Unable to cast object of type 'BizHawk.Emulation.Common.NullEmulator' to type 'BizHawk.Emulation.Cores.Nintendo.Gameboy.Gameboy' Minor Bug, only if you're an idiot who forgot to place a gba bios.

Back 2 Back 2 Back Pentris could be used on Hardest Difficulty? Then again manipulating to receive and use 10 5x5 would be insane. Explanation on a Pentris: It's like a Tetris where you have a 10x4 but instead of 10x4 it's 10x5. Therefore Pent- (πέντε) means 5. This can only be used with the obscure pieces you get.

Please have a look at the TASing Guide. Especially this part. I would get myself a copy of MMX5 or MMX6 but we have (and yes I still was able to check your input): [1954] PSX Mega Man X5 by Bernka in 16:38.18 [1692] PSX Mega Man X6 by Rolanmen1 & FractalFusion in 25:34.02 To compare you with.

We might replay the SMB WR‚ as it was played on FCEUX. It's not too long and it would be a kind of joke, like "SMB WR was tied at AGDQ!"
Seconding this. Link to video http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/493401020/smb-114.fm2

Here's Phase 1 to 5 on the NTSC version. -Video Deleted- I'm only posting this because I hate Phase 5. Yes, that stupid strat used in Phase 5 was the fastest. The normal stuff doesn't work.

I want going to nominate: [2406] NES Kirby's Adventure "game end glitch" by MESHUGGAH, CoolKirby, Masterjun, MUGG, TASeditor & illayaya in 00:35.91 This is a good example of a FRAME WAR. But there was an issue to Console Verifying this but the last post was MESHUGGAH's. He provided a fix for the issue but I don't see any checkups with that file.

It was known as 88mph. They used a quote from Back to the Future in their intro. "When this baby hits 88 miles per hour... you're gonna see some serious shit."

At 2:00 in the video Mario’s jump looks unoptimized, too late, especially if you compare it with the 5:30 one.
Ironically enough, I placed on the frame where Mario can only Jump so it's actually optimal. The earliest possible frame was 6063. 6062 wouldn't register. 6065 would be considered too late. But. 6064 would also be considered optimal. What? Jumping at 6063/4 you have to jump again at 6101. Ontop of that both chances I can jump both end on the same frame (6114). I hope that clarifies that jump.

There's a similar-ish game called "Mario Clash" for the virtual boy. I wonder if that ever loops or goes to 99 instead.
Link to video From the video description: "There doesn't seem to be an absolute end to the game. You get a trophy every 100,000 points with the nearest resemblance to an ending when you reach 999,999 points. All 99 levels are shown, and the game loops back to 1 only faster/harder where I loose all my lives to end the game (cut for time)."

Probably not... seeing how PAL and NTSC are different they can be two different games. Uh, probably mention the phases as part of the description though.

Okay back, it's an ipad/mobile issue. As an Australian I can watch all Mega Man videos on my computer but not my iPhone and iPad. Tell us, does it work fine on your computer?

Firstly, why aren't you discussing here about Mario Bros. stuff. Kusoman's userfile

pretty well done TAS I did this TAS with a friend (who doesn't have an account so is a guest) pretty fun to make too Rerecord Count: 77 ROM Filename: Mario Bros. (World).nes now that I finished this TAS I can continue with my Mega Man & and Bass GBA TAS
I wouldn't say that this was a "Well Done" TAS as it's quite terrible. You're not even finished...
Spikestuff wrote:
...I'm letting you know now it's 18 Phases.
Now, I don't have my current TAS on me because I left that at another house... but I have provided my first revision of this game so I'll be looking at that for everything except for the "Test Your Skill" phase because I was lucky enough to provide myself a video for that. Takes a look at the input God dammit... you're using Bizhawk. The first frame you can hit select in Bizhawk is frame 6. Your input loops around the menu when it shouldn't. You also fail to hit the start button right after pressing select. You should not be seeing the menu at frame 12. You fail to get the quick knock on every single final enemy. WHY ARE YOU HOLDING THE B BUTTON!? (Rhetorical Question) The B button does absolutely nothing in Mario Bros. By the time you START Phase 3. I finished Phase 3. Your planning for Phase 3 is terribly executed. You didn't use the only time saving glitch: Your time for the Test Your Skill is 8.1 remaining which means you wasted 11.9 seconds, when instead you used the glitch should be 14.2 Remaining which is a time spent of 5.8 seconds 432 frames was spent in there to save time. Do not waste your POW block. It's important to keep than destroy. Always hit the POW block twice NOT THRICE! I see Mario and Luigi starting Phase 6 at Frame 6873 on my first revision... 6796 Yours is at frame 8823. ALSO ontop of all that you stop recording at frame 8972 Your final input should be at frame 8560! I'm going to quote Mothrayas another TAS you did and got rejected.
