Like the others say: I like to see Dooty's name up there too as he did help you out. He himself states it, so it's a bit of a shame he isn't up there for a one frame improvement.

The daily life of Spikestuff @ Uni. 8:58 Loaded up TASVideos' front page, saw 3 new runs. "Alright then." Skimmed the forums section. "Nothing interesting." 8:59 Returned to home screen. *A2600 Spider-Man* I was shocked. I'm lucky my lecturer did not notice what I was looking at. Bloody hell. Yes Vote.

Another thing related to movement. When you jump your speed stays at the top speed until you land. By adding an attack before landing into the mix you can actually move at little further. Starts at around 7 seconds. Link to video I still possibly will not return to TAS this from the begging unless I have someone else. Plus hunting down the values is harder on this game as they're all sectioned off. #1 Rolling Backwards. #2 Attack before landing. #3 Walking. #4 Walking after Jumps.

If it reads like I'm attacking that is completely accidental and I wasn't aiming to type like that. @thatguy: feos and myself has explained why it shouldn't be obsoleted on the previous page. Edit: Sorry. feos was explaining both sides. To repeat my version and hopefully change the words a bit to make sense. If this was the old branching ways this TAS would be branched with "glitched" This is why I'm proposing the 3 branches for this game because each way changes the game significantly. My example on what is similar to this random argument that shouldn't be an argument to begin with and is actually straight forward? Crash Bandicoot 2: [1457] PSX Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back by Mukki in 47:37.62 [1506] PSX Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back "item glitch" by pirohiko in 11:34.85 (Insert 100% TAS of Crash 2 here.) And for Mario (That have been accepted)? 0 Stars low%, 70 Stars any% (This BLJ honestly should be 120 but still awesome regardless), 120 Stars 100%. Mario 64 for the 16 Star being obsoleted by 1 star then to 0 is to see what our lowest ending we can get that's why they were obsoleted. This is a sense of variety ... but it doesn't mean anything to some people by what I'm reading... Even though we have a few TASes of other games which have more than 3 branches to one game. Point is invalid. PEOPLE STOP USING MARIO AS YOUR EXAMPLE and I'll stop using Crash 2 as mine. Jeez.

Going off TASeditor's post. There is a total of 335 Levels. (possibly more?) It starts going funky around here. There is a loss of screen so possibly it can be a kill screen but I am unsure.

*reads Moth's point* So I vote Yes right? Obvious No.
Why am I not asleep?
About 8 mins difference between this and the Canceled one. As Moth pointed out the clear instage differences. Even if the canceled TAS was SNES9x if it was converted to Bizhawk/lsnes (more accurate emu.) It would be more than 6 minutes (Estimate and a half here) ahead of this TAS.

That the only speedrun was done on the easiest difficulty which was done live at SDA live. (Basically no Hardest exists is what I'm agreeing with you here.)
Dimon12321 wrote:
They all somehow didn't help me with my run! What could I do?
Some of us know the minimum of the game, many just cannot accept it just by the look. This is due to the knowledge of the other versions of Doom.
Dimon12321 wrote:
Not many are interested in speedrunning this game!
It's easier to explain but harder to do, some games just doesn't get enough attention which is a pain. This makes it harder to route and plan. The minimum can only be given, it's all that can be worked with... and I agree it sucks, so I suggest to keep trying and optimize on yourself.

jlun2 you didn't read my responding point to Patashu which has better explanation. Also this is the reason why feos is judging. Edit: Also I can say this about different branches in other games. This is why I'm bringing up the branch naming of the older one to the plate to this submission.

Isn't '14 talisman' basically '16 star', which we do not accept?
Pretty much it's like Crash Bandicoot 2 in old TASVideos way atm. When it originally came out we have: any%, glitched and 100% (100% doesn't exist) If this was branched in the ways we have: any% (14 talisman), glitched and 100% Pretty much it's acceptable. Also using Mario 64 is a poor example. 0 Star, 70 star, 120 star. Reason: Glitched (or low%), any%, 100% Boss Comparison to previous TAS: Link to video

Point of reference. The WR is 9 mins 38 seconds. Easy YES. Edit: So branch... I say the branch would stay blank (any%). The other one cannot be obsoleted... it's known to speedrunners as "14 Talisman".

What the hell is this??????
The game creaothceann is showing is F-Zero. It is a game on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. He is just providing an example of what investigating and optimization looks like. Then to show others and give in their input rather then submitting the run. So in other words is to post your progress in the game. Or post what discoveries you have found. Then wait for feedback or to continue what you are doing.

Well at least we have this TAS as a reference for future ones (if anyone makes another "Easiest Diff." on this game).

Jump. Jump you little mouse. meows On the terms of "easiest difficulty" this can be accepted and be part of a new branch for this game. I will say it was more entertaining (for me) but still not enough for me to be completely entertained. Considering about 52% of time was taken off from hardest difficulty. Meh Vote. Towards Vault.

Well if it isn't another TAS that got into the same situation.

Kurabupengin: Basically it's the way you post. Actual and Random (nearly off-topic) ones. As long as you write something random then post it. You were my easiest example of someone who acted like past me. ars: He understood at your first point. Then you continued to talk about lag counts and frame counts. Which I summed (with Ilari's 2 cents too) up in a non-broken record in 2 different posts.

I just can lose my wish to TAS games!
Don't say that. This is my 3rd year I have been on this site. A lot has changed since then. Back when I started TASing I was terrible. Even my first thousand posts are at the level of Kurabupengin's posts today. I was probably easily hated by other users, which I understand as I look back. What you have done so far has been set in stone, this stone cannot be destroyed. It shows who you are and what you're trying to archive. The current TASes I have created and became accepted are all junk. They're "superhuman"-input as they're all arcade based games. But this creates a step to understand how to optimize on your mistakes. Currently I'm trying to update 2 different TASes created by 2 other users, it takes time. I do hate it, trying to do something over and over again it's a loop. Remember: Everyone has been on the same boat as you. Have fun, do whatever you want, muck about. Just don't give up, especially on a game that would decline input. Something that does this becomes a challenge. Hard as it may be the reward will be always waiting for you. Now. ars. You have been on a constant loop explaining one thing. Stop it, Dimon has already got this point and he already understands. You're out of line on what you have been writing so far. I won't explain why because it's quite clear. Read all your posts you have created in this forum.
