Now I'm still alive (obviously) but I herd someone else might be tassing 1 player.
With perfect menu this is the normal (frame 0)
Frames:
0 - N.Brio
2 - Coco
4 - Cortex
6 - Rilla Roo
8 - Coco (then loops)
With delay during the select screen it's the same still.
6 frames is better to lose than changing characters as it wastes more time.
But doing something prior to hitting X changes the order. (I Placed 2 frames of Up and got Cortex)
Edit: Adding 4 Extra frames of input on first menu gets Rilla Roo.
The 4 extra frames are the arrows at the very beginning (before the first X)

Every time you see a forward movement it is the entering of the level (something to do with the story) it's a seizure flicker... but at 30fps you don't see it.

The 2nd one takes a few attempts on trials. for 100% I say it's not needed because of Chicken hunt but I'm not quite sure.
The first one is a backup incase you break those boxes... also it can be used to get to that crystal earlier.

I don't know if these could be used for a run (both tas and rta) but I'll show anyway. (2nd one I think not but 1st one maybe.)

1) At the front of the level there is boxes stacked now if the boxes were broken the backup strat would be jumping on the far right side.
2) To skip the long chase with boulder you can jump around from the fairy with the crystal ontop to the area of the secret area... this one wouldn't be recommended as it is more optimal to talk to the chicken first.
