Pirohiko you have done amazing work on this project of yours... I'll avoid mentioning the last 4 updates. Anyways... Question: Now you don't have to answer this one because it's well practically finished. Will you be adding extra input at the end to show off the final glitch, or are you just going to have it as a final spin? Anyways this was amazing to watch.

As it says in the previous submission for this game, Easy difficulty is actually more difficult for TASing. That doesn't bode well for this submission.
Wait, so does this make it Easy as in Hard or Hard as in Easy?

This would end up in a video like Goldeneye where you see the player looking on the floor most of the time. I do not want to discuss if this is more or less entertaining but speed is the ultimate goal of a TAS but not for our videos. In case of Goldeneye we would not care about lags when watching straight ahead or strafing the whole time because it is faster. That was what I wanted to say by 'playing the game as it was meant to be.'
Firstly that didn't answer my question you just made another game which you don't have to look at the ground instead show the environment of everyone shooting at you (Think of that GC 007 tas).. I even stated something that no-one noticed and 2 different games which show the entire environment so the answer you gave me is flawed. Secondly it doesn't matter that you're not LPG.org (not the actual link to them so don't bother copying it) you still actually doing the exact same thing as him, which goes off the rules (to an extent). Edit: Thirdly I wish you luck on what you guys do... but you better do it fully and judge as critically as you can. Edit 2: Also edit what you wrote about Klonoa that ain't 100% like the video wrote it's really All Villagers Rescued (That's if this forum lasts a bit longer)

Perhaps you might take a look at our movies to see the differences to a longplay. You can compare our Zelda SNES video with an actual longplay for an example. Not to say our movie is better but it demonstrates the gap between a longplay and a TFP.
I watched Klonoa instead... 2 things for improvement, jumping is faster (Get a ram watch it's specific numbers) and where is the bonus stage? Point Blank DS the comparing stage you didn't hit a banana that landed upsidedown compared to the one that landed right side up. If you say you're a TFP going for awesome completion in a short amount of time wouldn't you notice the minor bits that need to be faster? Edit: And what jlun wrote... twice Edit 2: And when you guys finally do Crash 1 you better include the 2 major glitches to get 2 gems early.

Hi, we made a new site which might be interesting for some here because we make tool-assisted movies but no speedruns. We thought about possibilities to make gameplay interesting in a different way and with a different goal than speed only.
LongPlays actually has done this. (Sorry I mentioned this, but I had to mention someone who does it already) They have used all the current tas emulators and bizhawk... So it really isn't something new, also they also do it as half tas and half actually time consuming longplays to 100% Yes there is some games where they only complete it any% which isn't full but I can say they will be having 100% updates on those games.

God-dammit space your text out! We're talking about what console he was using and version NOT the things that could (obviously) be improved. Heck, Pete isn't going to bother updating his run until an obvious change in route shows that with a video to back it up! HE KNOWS!

First thing I'm going to question 09:12;06 is what it says in the Youtube Encode with tas timing and your time is far greater time. Was this because that there is extra inputs that had to be pressed? Happy that this was done on hardest difficulty, upset that's it not a playround, so went for fastest time like you wrote. and *Insert Liu Kang's while doing the bicycle kick here* God that's a funny voice. I'm not going to vote, it's difficult for me to vote on fighters that I don't play much. I would only vote at Tekken runs that aren't playround because I know what's going on in that game. The Bicycle Kicks kept me watching ;)

Update So I was looking at the final inputs and noticed that there was a large gap between final input and well, when the tas timer actually stops. Told Got4n to go fix it with the tas movie editor and update obviously... Then he didn't know what to do even though I kinda did... So here we are... with me writing the update in the forum for Got4n. Gee, I'm nice XD It's still a Got4n only run. 2.6 seconds saved 156 frames saved

It's worth noting that Pete's run also appears to be done in the European version; are there speed differences between the two? Even though there's no video documentation of specific improvements, I wouldn't be so quick to write someone's suggestions off. Perhaps if he were to describe some of the biggest timesavers, it would be telling how helping it might be.
Movement is relatively the same. Load times NTSC wins and the biggest note of all that no-one noticed: PS2 FAT

Since I hate myself.... When Bizhawk finally adds a psx port I will do this again... as a 3 player TAS I'm going to make player 3 more silly compared to 1 and 2... and I hope I'll be able to max out the milk challenge instead of having those input lags.

next thing is hopefully gba games... kirby, zelda, sonic... (insert game that is multi-player via link on gba here) This will be awesome... that is if the fps issue can be fixed rather than having to grind 20-30fps (maybe lower)...

Firstly breaking up everything you wrote to make me think clearly.

I have managed to beat his time by about 3 minutes(Mainly due to navigation). I didn't get it on video because it was meant to be a test run. But with a TAS I bet it's possible for the time to get 45 minutes. Maybe lower with heavy luck. But in his speedrun there are alot of ways that he could've done that would've been much faster than how he did it. -examples-
Well dammit... like my English teacher says "Not here, not done" so technically we cannot go off anything you wrote without the evidence. We are looking for below 50 so 45 minutes is fine. Heavy Luck is a joke you gain coins for everyone you take down so that's a minor bonus instead of searching around the whole round. We know... heck Pete should know... unless he ignored me that day on skype than butts... also it's marginally better than the segmented run. The major skip is the most difficult one to execute I usually get it in around 5 shots surprisingly. Also *entrance
