Not once in my logs do you explicitly mention "Libera" in #tasvideos until the 24th (23rd your time). That's this week. All you stated about it that day was: May 24 03:45:37 <Nach> Spikestuff: I already set up libera last week. I'm just not certain we need to move there. Going to wait on the next version of Hawk to come out, but will be claiming this one once accepted.

You have a considerably bad track record when it comes to providing evidence and justification on these claims that you’re practically stating “trust me” again. Like can you provide the evidence besides going on deliberate misconceptions again Xipo. Through the thread of the game the only thing you provide is an 18 second userfile of the Stage 5-3 boss. And the only submission you have of the title there is an extreme differences between yours and theirs. What and where's this Ninja Gaiden III (Japan) version movie file you're on about?

You know why it's fine that they didn't thank you in the submission text (even though EZGames69 requotes the submission text and puts emphasis your alias)? Cause their first language isn't English. Which honestly, is fine (but your alias is mentioned, and you are thanked). It's all about you Arc, even though it isn't. Just to repeat one of your comments.

Cool, and you had 12 years to make your improvement to your previous movie.
You've provided no evidence of direct plagiarism since your first claim as the input was made from scratch and you were credited in the submission text as a thanks. Now move on. Someone split this off and make sure not to hit the comments that are only talking about the work DreamYao made.

It's not hard to give credit. All it takes is "& Arc." I always properly credit people who contribute to my movies even though I really worked on them alone, because I am not a plagiarist.
Odd that you're only focusing on yourself Arc, if this was really using your input it should state ", Arc & Koh1fds". Also that's fine, neither is DreamYao's input I threw it in a diff checker and there are differences to both your methods and the only times they matched is when you're both walking. Kinda saved myself time since I did ask:

You can claim that tricks and techniques but it doesn't warrant yourself credit for co-author only an acknowledgement. Don't pull a gia or a Xipo for that matter.

Yes, and they did it from scratch with no help from you whatsoever. Like that's the entire point of creating the input from scratch.

Light Spike of 9657 frames. Lots of blank frames after the last input. --- Edit: The window washing is always the part that gets brought up. If you were part of the TASVideos Discord in September/October 2020 you would've stumbled on a glitch that Challenger discovered and Exonym implemented which speeds up the washing: Link to video This is a great attempt of a TAS over the previous existing submission that's done on easy. Maybe you and Exonym could team up and look for probably a sub 20 together.

This has come as a "this came out relatively quickly after the RTA record was approved" kind of comment... which isn't the first time something like this has happened where a new strat was found and a TAS with no refinement or exploration was submitted not even a month after discovery.
The answer was a non-shocking... Yes: #7120: AmaizumiUni, Spikestuff & DJ Incendration's NES Final Fantasy "game end glitch" in 01:36.47

While the author writes up information: Link to video Claiming for Publication. Edit: Did the thing again. - Free frame cause Hawk (which we don't talk about). - Patched up character naming. Requesting co-author again I guess.

Turns out there might just be. Coming from the Japanese TASers who are still looking into it. pirohiko may have found something related to faster name entries so-- welcome to the eventual frame war I guess. This has come as a "this came out relatively quickly after the RTA record was approved" kind of comment... which isn't the first time something like this has happened where a new strat was found and a TAS with no refinement or exploration was submitted not even a month after discovery.

Previous movie for context: [2816] NES Final Fantasy "stairs glitch" by TheAxeMan, Inzult & Gyre in 06:58.24 Writing that this is based on an RTA run completed a week ago. So this leaves a major question. Is there a better string of text that can be used to jump to the end faster, and is there a "game end glitch" variant that can obsolete this category? Author actually has an encode: Link to video ---- Edit: Converted it to BizHawk, cleaned up the input (nuked the rerecord count), saved 5 frames and requesting co-author. - 2 frames from reboot (1 frame is free cause BizHawk). - 1 frame on a character name (Red Mage). - 1 frame for late input. And no idea where frame 5 comes from.

If it means anything towards this, this movie beats the KC ver TAS by IGT.
Interestingly enough the IGT actually clocks down faster on the KC version. Yes you can argue glitchyness or what have you but that's thrown out due to how different the two timers are. Meaning there's not really a fair comparison to give this run to the KC version.
Bigbass wrote:
How is it a cleaner run by not despawning the eyeball? Would despawning it result in a slower time?
Also to quickly touch the eyeball example preventing the spawn is faster by 3 frames at least on KC. I'm not going to look into the GB version since it's a completely inferior version by creating more lag and having slower movements all round. (Also the eye falls faster in the KC version meaning that it will hit you no matter what on the way down so you have to make sure it doesn't spawn on top of you first.)

Author created a 6 second (380 frames) improvement over the submission: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/71131346582067747 No idea where tho (cause I didn't check).

In a TAS we use practically an emulated controller, after all how else we can get for example Mario to move? Do you think you're more suited for this thread instead which is also Off topic?
