I've cross-examined it with a speedrun. There is not much difference, but this TAS beat out the human effort.
In fairness to the RTA runs, it's literally just spamming a button and praying that you get it fast enough, or knowing the timing to know when to spam a single button. It's amazing how uninvolved this game actually is when you look at the input strings, since it's narrative focused and not much else. As a note, this does sample audio from The Simpsons, so probably an idea to give it the Pokemon treatment. The episode is part of several short stories called 22 Short Films About Springfield the segment is from Skinner & the Superintendent and is from Season 7.

There's no other pawssible way this was going to be a different nomination with this Bobcat hitting the field: [5402] Jaguar Bubsy In: Fractured Furry Tales by arandomgameTASer in 16:37.57

There's a lot of great PlayStation TASes this year-- and Myst. But I like to give my two nominations to two titles that improved heavily over their predecessors. Both these titles show how the community improved and developed their strats, and these TASes show the end result. For a movie that improves a decade old TAS and does it in style: [5523] PSX Spyro the Dragon by toastedkat & wafflewizard1 in 35:37.20 And for one that even though it's a difference of half the time still kicks it out: [5611] PSX Klonoa: Door to Phantomile by lapogne36, inconsistent & amoser in 32:57.81

In just Resort Island alone comparing the Saturn WR to this run they are not only able to go out of bounds earlier than you (~6.20 to your ~8.70) they're able to finish that stage 2 seconds faster than you even with their bad end of first lap finagling. There's no explanation why the levels aren't done in order but compared to RTA at certain sections (as it is slower than this TAS comparatively in other stages, and certain laps) there's a lot on the floor from this TAS. Blazingmo6 please take your time in actually executing these out of bounds tricks and the quick laps as these issues in your runs that could be ironed out.

Hello umcinco and welcome to TASVideos. Unfortunately this category already has a sub 10 minute run, and a current publication which can be found here: [4144] SNES Super Mario World "warps" by BrunoVisnadi in 09:54.35 I don't understand what you mean in your submission description, but the best action for learning is to upload your files to the User Files, and progress from there.

Beg pardon for sounding like Spikestuff here, but you're gonna have to justify why "2P" on its own isn't good enough...
It would be more around the lines of "Why didn't you use GBAHawk? It supports GBA Link so you can do an actual 2 player mode."

Two Police Mice go mad. Bit of a hard watch admittedly due to the game presentation, and layout but regardless good job. Hope you submit your Single Player version as well.

I would like to have my submission cancelled. I had no idea I was using an incomplete version.
You know you can cancel your own movie right? Also it's still complete, it's just an uncommon version which will lead to desyncs, and technically when I originally saw it on some forums back on the previous submission it was classified as "beta" or something. Anyways you can use, or work from this version if you want it improves on multiple stages in yours, but absolutely gets ruined at both instances of 75m (it's very much not polished either). Just co-auth credit when you submit the next one if you do use it.

Author uses the non-final build for the title much like with this other submission... Final version carries this information: SHA1:AAF893AE99D80AAA280ACE408E99313B2140B972 MD5:079F2159449E1F47B94A4BF907203CC4 Author is using: SHA1:68D17036F1EA13330E598B49E57A1E4DF926E2C3 MD5:CE76EA0DE5AEA02136FA42334C97D173 Which is weird considering your wiki comment. There are differences, so every stall that the author does, can probably be avoided. Even if the author started the game a frame or two late. Abstained vote, purely from the stalling that the author had to do.

If you are going to TAS something like this, do all of it.
My thoughts are the exact same as andypanther's (down to the abstained vote) so it would've been nice to see your perspective about it.

I installed a new drive, and did migration of encoding folder had done a test encode on it for another title which had a frame corrupted for the downloadable and freaked me out for a bit, went to figure that out before pushing the other files to it after it was resolved.

You say you're using the 9999FPS because that's the fastest libTAS will allow for ScummVM, but benefit does that have for this TAS?
It allows the 5 lines to be inputted faster. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ You're not going to get a technical explanation from me about any of this, since it all amounts to "oh heck", "welp" and "oops". Like the most information about frame rates is me asking for a Judge on what a maximum fps limit is allowed and this is the response I got:

And then some kind of discussion occurred after the submission. I guess you could say it's me screwing around and trying to break (and get fixed) the rules again because that's more of my interest.

This is really well made, the only thing I'm curious about is the bosses, but otherwise well executed. Yes vote.
