Let's see... Almost 7 years ago, when PCSX2 still had hope. No, I don't. Use Dolphin if the game's also on GC/Wii. Otherwise if you are forced to use PCSX2. Look elsewhere or guess what you have to do. All I remember is hitting F12 for dumping and guessing what to dump with.

First Option. Change that to the next one over and a new list of options open up. You'll see one that says "101" that can be changed between the range of 0km to 255km. Enabling it to 0km you bug the game and face the opposite direction... going nowhere since your speed is nothing. Note: BIOS used is v1.01 (sha1: df94c5b4d47eb3cc404d88b33a8fda237eaf4720) and not the expected v1.00 (sha1: 2b8cb4f87580683eb4d760e4ed210813d667f0a2)

All publishers use the mkv format on publication. Here's the recent Publication from feos on Delta Warp. And his script is:
"./programs/x264" --qp 5 -b 0 --keyint infinite --output "./temp/video_youtube.mkv" encode.avs
(If that's wrong feos correct me) Have a go with this (you can interchange the qp to crf).

This is an intersting game to show off your TASing for a first TAS. Unfortunately this wasn't entertaining for me, so I'll be voting Meh. Also provided an encode on the submission text. Going from your detailed submission text, it's great that you pointed out everything including what you're unable to accomplish. The possible improvements sound as if this game seems friendly enough to go into those levels, fix them and do what you were unable to do and provide an update to your input and changes it into a coauth TAS.

Sorry. I'm completely stumped. How? How did you not improve on my input? The first time I hit Start on the "Stage Complete" screen is at 6754, you hit it at 6852. (from power on) This is with very bad input at that Zink fight, as I faced the wrong way. I even wrote out clear as day on what to do with the Glider. Manipulate, don't attack the Glider from the sky. The jump attack is slow, that's why I told you that on the first enemy and showed you the comparison for the Glider. This probably also opens the excuse of "this is why you should do 2 player, so issues like this don't happen, where you can attack then instantly follow with a special between the two players." I also cleared the first 3 enemies sooner than you. https://streamable.com/ti5q69 This is looking at my v1 input, against your new input. Yes congrats. You subbed 21:30 as I assumed, but it's still littered with errors and some can be found from the first stage. I'm stumped, I don't know what to make of this. I wrote the frames to beat (6754 then 6617) but you didn't improve the v1 or matched the v2 where the only difference is I faced towards Zink. Edit: I need to ask this. How many days did this improvement take to make since it's from scratch? Cause going from forum posts it's maximum 3 days.

Mirroring your Left/Right input when doing the special to Right/Left instead. It's a common thing with most games to mirror your input when you're facing the opposite direction.

A 58 minute submission vs a 54 minute submission that was referenced in the author's text. Did you submit this on accident or is there another reason you're using the US version cause that's big difference and I'm confused.

Based on that, I'm assuming that sub 22 is likely possible, yes?
Most likely. Especially if your scream's activation was five frames and not upwards of what I see is 13 frames. (upd: The 13 frames was actually for a different move, but it still should've be done in five) Edit: For the sake of a comparison, and a showcase. Here's 1 player comparison on the first level. 6754 vs 7112 on the Start input to advance from the stage cleared screen. I also need to do a correction to a comment. The Glider can be manipulated to die to just the scream. I found this out when doing my input from scratch and he didn't die in one hit, until I made him. (I input the scream early, so it's the game waiting for him to land on the ground to be knocked out) The way I made 'im is that I delayed how quickly I killed the previous enemy. Delaying the input when he appears also works, but that looks like a mess, so it's better to hide one. Edit 2: Corrected my Zink fight now it ends at 6617. Edit 3: Decided to look at your final two attacking inputs on the final boss, cause I really can't be bothered doing a full boss fight. You could've finished that boss faster than 79377 frames. I write faster than, cause that's just correcting two inputs, your final input without two inputs being corrected ends at 79409. (Yes, the movie isn't truncated properly) So to answer that question I respond to with "most likely" it's more like most definitely. In TAStime you can probably sub a 21:30 maybe even a sub/low 21.

I apologise on the goof, and that was a big goof and a half, don't know why they didn't spawn... (and yes, I did go right... they didn't spawn, I didn't save the input cause it was a throwaway, or I might be slowly going insane.) However, you should go over your inputs again, you have improvements: I didn't jump or punch if you want to know how I saved almost 30 frames, and yes that kills the 3 enemies. Also you could've just yelled at the Crystal Guard that comes down by hang glider instead of hitting them then yelling at 'em.

There's only one enemy on the first screen. There's no second or third enemy like Coop. Just a single enemy. That you wasted time using your special on. Explain why you wasted time is all I want to know. You're not hitting a second enemy off screen. Because they don't exist. The next screen, with the health pickups is when there's more than one enemy on the screen. Edit: Your edit doesn't answer my question. Or my statement. Edit 2: Because using the reply function is difficult he decided to completely change the original post. Here's his original post:
Technickle wrote:
Gathering multiple enemies at once will clear the screen faster, rather than focus on 1 enemy at a time with Y and a heavy X punch. The only real way this would be faster is if the screen only had 1 enemy altogether, there are several cases, small cases, but it does happen. If an enemy can follow you to other enemies it's faster. The problem with this game is that some screens only have 1 enemy, then and only then do more appear, this happens in Snowy Village & Forest of Mythrandir, there are probably more places, but those are the places that come to mind.
And after all that removal of text and massive rewrite. You still didn't answer the question/statement, you circled around it. Let me remind you, emphasis mine:
Spikestuff wrote:

Ok then. Let's just play the game of contradictions with excuses again. Answer this then: Why did you scream at the first enemy when it's literally faster just to knock them out without a special? Literally. Just a normal Y while in the air for and a Heavy Punch with X when they're getting up.

Grabbing the comment from userfiles since it explains why 1 player is being used.
Not 2 Players? Nope, I figured that even if two players where being controlled, one of the players would have to wipe out all the enemies with a musical move anyway, thus leaving either player 1 or player 2 stagnant.
"Figured". Does that mean you didn't bother checking like with Ms. Pac-Man? Cause to me it sounds like you didn't bother checking. Have a comparison with my input from 2019 (which was made around your previous submission) where I have no bloody damn idea what the hell I was doing, or knew what the best character combination was. Yes, you catch me on the boss. Which admittedly isn't shown on this clip. But that's irrelevant to the point when you're saying that 2 players is useless when it reaches the first boss about 500 frames faster than singleplayer. https://streamable.com/w034so Learn your speedgame. --- And yes, this is currently not branched with "1 player" but this game is more interesting with 2 players in my opinion, but it doesn't help the claim he made, that's why I ignored this point. But, I doubt how optimal this run was made in what seems to be done in such a short time.

The game must be in a bin/cue format (or ccd/cue/img/sub combo). If it's not in the format listed above (aka you're using an iso format) then you don't have the correct version. You also must load the cue. Inferior US version: (If you're going to say I'm using the wrong version) And if it's not that. Check you have the bios files that the upstream emulator mednafen is requesting in the firmware folder.

As usual, I need to preface that I don't do platformers. So consider where the video stops is where the work on it "dies". Link to video It completes practically all of world one except it doesn't do the Gundam/Mech fight because I have no idea what the hell I'm doing there. Yae has fastest movement from what I understand, and Goemon drops faster making him more important to switch to during vertical segments. This is roughly a minute faster than this submission at where this ends. On the boss I took 2 hits of damage on between the characters on cause I was an idiot and ended up figuring out what I need to do on the second phase. However it didn't affect my shooting so there's that at least.

An hour length TAS, with no encode. Great. Guess I'll break down the input then. There's mashing, so it's evident that this is RTA play and not TAS play... A lot of mashing, not even like sequenced, just long holds for no reason. So out of the gate I'm just going to assume the menuing at the start is poor. (The rerecord count can back this claim that you weren't using TAStudio to fine tune your input.) The only available video is your WIP from 2 days ago. There's a lot of stalling and what seems to be unnecessary killings as you stop dead in your tracks doing your moves. Please, go back to the drawing board and take your time with the next movie you create for this game. In a TAS world this can be easily improved on. And upload your movies to your user movies area until you're confident that it's optimal. > 2 player game Unless the AI has to take more damage, maybe make the movie 2 players next time. Edit: Provided an encode in the submission text. Replaced with Author's version. Edit 2: And this is why it's important to play in the 2 player mode:

The timing in Stages 4 to 7 the target can appear at any random time. The influence of the bios + location (and time) of shooting changes the factors of when you can shoot your target. Say for instance at Stage 4. Instead of waiting 523 frames IGT we can spend waiting for the target to show up to 890 frames IGT (20 seconds remaining on clock) And for Stage 6 where waiting for the limo to show up is completely dependent on timing and entering the scene. —I'm looking at very old notes I have on this and I think I submitted the wrong movie... I have a 4699 (scph1001) and I've gone ahead and submitted a 4764 (scph5500) instead. I'm going to can the movie for now and contemplate why I'm an idiot and I'll redo it all from scratch and triple check my notes. Back to doing multiple iterations of this game again... yay.

Man it's like this game also came out on the Wii and this exact same person would rather not play on that version for whatever reason. There's a reason, and it's blatantly obvious. Anything this user does is treated like a walkthrough. They'll never make an actual TAS on any series that they pick up. If they did actually care about making an actual TAS they'd be using the Wii version, plain as day. But this is a walkthrough and they will choose whatever they want and for whatever reason they want that is their motivation. It's a "Perfected" Walkthrough thanks to Tools to Assist them. It's like it's called a Tool Assisted Playthrough.

Just as a note, Service Mode is currently non-functional for replays. Test Case: Tekken 3 (shock) Default: - Difficulty: Medium - Rounds: 2 Input changed it to: - Difficulty Very Hard - Rounds: 1 On playback so far, from what I've noticed: - Hard, 1 Round - Ultra Hard, 1 Round - Easy, 1 Round I've spotted a 3 and 4 round as well when testing as a note, but I didn't document those ones. I'm assuming it's due to the nvram. Oh and Time Crisis has the ! thing in TAStudio. (This probably extends to other light-gun games)

Well when someone's making excuses for 2 years, on 9 TASes and the fact that on each and every submission has the same consistent rodeo on something. And that the same person who actually takes about the third of the advice that's given to them. Cause guess where the optimize came from and never got drilled in. Yeah, nah. I don't care with this user anymore if they don't care about actually bothering and neither should you. I'm ignoring your second paragraph, cause there's no point about repetition.
