So where's the improvements work on? Several years gone, isn't it finished? And so many other movies are submitted by them? Does they really continue?
I personally have projects hitting 5 years old now due to a technical hiccup, motivation hitting a wall or lost interest completely in a game. If you have a complaint about something that you know the technical knowledge on, you create a TAS on it and work on it yourself or with other people or give out a helping hand to them, the site is communal it doesn't have to be a solo project.

"Does it really matter what others think?" Remember it please.
The argument over the two threads that intertwine at parts doesn't make sense here due to what's being said or presented.

I won't continue to do TAS for this site. But I won't leave here.
You can choose whatever you want to do, but the choice you're deciding is all because you couldn't accept being accepted and rejected as well. This honestly doesn't make sense from both an outside looking in or being part of this whole ordeal from the get go.

Because you told me you will hold my works without my permission.
I hope that this is a translation error. I said that because of History we cannot undo your works or delete them. What I didn't mention is we can remove all association from you and removing you as an author from all your works. But that's stripping off the hard work that you put into your work for the past 9 years of you being at this site, it isn't a good feeling to remove someone that's dedicated.

I'll do some unfriendly things to you in future.
You can say whatever type of threats you want to whoever you want, but that's not you and it cannot be stressed not to go down that route. You're a very well respected runner who has some fumbling but this message is like a message for help and it can't be ignored. We don't want to lose you just over something over a canned submission being faster, or some history 7 years ago when the site was younger and was more different. We always want to see a person grow, and as a Publisher there are submissions I actually look forward to and always try to get and publish and I still wait on those submissions even to this day.

So when are you going to get back to me about the other post you made that was illogical? Also. Who are the three birds? You have myself a Publisher. feos a Senior Judge + Publisher and Technickle who all commented about the TAS in the forums. Unless you're talking about yourself with your latest post. He's actually talking about me but this would then be a case of him failing to count. I guess Sesame Street can't teach you everything. Also fun fact while we're here. The driving lines actually look worse than the previous movie for the first 5 races. Double fun fact for you electricslide since you have selective reading. The TAS was made and confirmed by the author to be done in 3 weeks since the previous movie's initial submission and we're still trying to understand why the author didn't provide the input and instead went "incognito", do you have an explanation for that or are you going to make another illogical comment about it? What would happen if the author took another 3 weeks after submission and found another improvement wasting everyone's time cause he didn't talk up about it cause he was "busy" but there were posts he made during that "busy" period where he could've pointed it out?

Just because you're faster on TAStime doesn't mean your faster overall. (Bold is faster) I've seen enough honestly just by comparing the first five races to the currently published movie you improve in later areas but you lose time in earlier areas. This TAS isn't balanced, more can be improved. Abstaining from voting. As a reminder. You cannot make the argument about IGT not being valuable when it's shows off the lack of skill and is still completely usable for a quick comparison. (Like you argued on the Published movie) Edit: You should also explain the purchases you do throughout the run. End of Race 1: Gearbox vs Nitro End of Race 3: Wet Tires What you've demonstrated here is that getting upgraded Nitro instead of an upgraded Gearbox is not worth it when it's compared. Especially with the lack of explanation.

The method is probably mentioned earlier (like 20 pages back or so) but I didn't spot it... So I followed the page on AviSynth about ImageSourceAnim and that's including updating the libraries, making sure that I have DevIL updated all done. And came up with is an error that I couldn't find the answer to googling around. I can just do the simple method of raw avi and dealing with that, but I did want to see the gif method.

However you were comfortably able to make two posts in October meaning that you had plenty of time to do the submission then. That's going off of post history. Instead of asking for a file replacement for the movie you just gave a new submission after publication, which is honestly on a processing side a waste of time. However, because of that it means you should have no errors that were pointed out to you then. Shouldn't it? You lost 2 frames screwing about in the menus. Also that means you should make a table for the frame time or the in game time for each level since we found out that it is actually reliable enough.

Bit late. But mainly just waited around to see if a staff member can fix it. (Short version: They can, but it's a process and a half.) This is a fix for the TAS to redisable a feature that was enabled which is basically the 3D functionality. This TAS still completely syncs with this fix which can be seen in the fix encode I had to make. http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/download/59111163817941705 This is mainly for whoever in the future wants to reencode it and should hopefully look at the forums. Now if you need me I'm going to see if I can do the reverse and see if previous Vboy TASes still sync with the feature enabled (Spoilers: They synced).

It's asking if you "found the movie entertaining" not "should this movie be published". So. Did either of you find the category itself interesting at all, unique or something or are both of you too fixated on it being subotpimal? (Double on you Αsumeh referring to your post on "no glitches" as that comes off as the same reasoning as your No vote there which doesn't fall in line with how you should vote.) Cause if you're going to argue about it being arbitrary. Well, do I have a story for both of you involving Super Metroid and Chrono Trigger.

Ok, for the canceled vs canceled thing it's 2 different categories which doesn't help. You're comparing to a pacifist run to your situation with a normal run. Mr_K cancelled his run due to finding improvements that he can work on (with EZGames69). Comparing TASVideos 2012 to 2019 doesn't really help due to the changing of the structure being immensely different. Heidman wrote something important back then which I'm surprised you didn't continue looking on the conversation.
Heidman wrote:
Soig, does it really matter what others think? Voting and the talk in this thread are all about just people that are not judges expressing how they feel about the TAS that is being presented to them. You have to realize that not everyone is going to like what you create for one reason or another. But the fact is that it does not matter. What matters is how you feel about it. And as far as getting it onto the site is how the judges feel. I created my TAS and am very happy with it. I dont care that people bashed it, or any of my speedruns over on SDA. You should just be happy that you accomplished something. Why is that not enough?
I don't know why this is a question at all to begin with but here goes. Decision is basically a string of text informing people that it's still being set and is actually easier to find when it's being judged/accepted/published due to having it say "Decision". Well that's how I personally read it anyways, it saying "Decision" instead of not saying anything seems more important than nothing placed there besides "Accepted". As for your second half. No, that's not how the site works, it's about preserving history and if you're being very harsh on yourself for no actual reason. Rejected cannot be changed to Accepted unless it's a run that was missed in the Vault introduction where movies previously rejected were judged once again. You can do Canceled to Accepted (after a process) Published cannot be changed either due to again, history. However, Publication Underway can be changed to cancelled/rejected due to well the normal reasons of cancelled and rejected. The Xipo point doesn't make any sense. As for the second half, as I mentioned and I'll make it it's own sentence. That's not how the site works. It's about preserving history and if you're being very harsh on yourself for no actual reason.

1. You're pretty much repeating yourself. It's not a "bug". 2. That's not an answer. I was asking what system. You know. N64, PlayStation, Saturn, etc. 3. That's obviously not an answer. Hawk has 3 Display Methods. Direct3D9, OpenGL & GDI. Also I left you behind something else.

3 questions. How is this a bug? What system are you emulating? Are you in the right mode to use reshade? External Programs aren't the Hawk's team problem.

Going off this point specifically and using what Colin translated through Google (since Point 1 and 2 are in my opinion poorly translated from Google/Bing). That is not the goal of TASVideos. You're allowed to have TASes with errors in 'em as long as they're not painfully obvious to the naked eye or just as hard as possible to maintain an improvement, we have an EarthBound TAS that was Published this year that had improvements pointed out in the forums of WIPs but it was still accepted. No one for this this TAS made some type of WIP or made sure to check that this is not improvable. This TAS was accepted without issue, and to point out we've had a shit ton of Contra obsoletions for this year alone so you saying this should not be a case. No single TAS is perfect. You can argue that the most perfect TAS (SMB1 "warps") is perfection, but it could not be. One day there might be a trick discovered for TAS only that can inch further on improvements on the current TAS but that's not there yet. We've had SMB3 going under massive improvements by lag frames that no one thinks of for example. This TAS is fine, the reasonings for what you made are concerning.

Spiked the input by 78 frames. TAS is as boring as expected but I'll give it a Meh. As a note: Author's encode is RTA timing which is why the times don't match up.

GB/C - Just do 1440p (x10), doesn't take long since it's a single scale. As for everything else you'll have to do two resolutions like S/NES. GBA doesn't get the 4:3 treatment like "everything else". For SMS pay attention if you're using borders then use the S/NES method there.

FilipeTales you seem to lack the understanding that the Author (well the messenger) was given reasoning by a Judge that a case like this would be acceptable, but unfortunately it isn't. The author is fully aware of the user files, and was basing his choice by what was written by the Judge, it's unfortunate that they got rejected of information they learnt.
