Agreeing with the Ferret here. The only Pitfall runs that have actual backing proof are Peter Nadalin aka nads thanks to his runs being available on speedruncom but unfortunately he's PAL. David B Yancey also has a YouTube (D Yancey) however doesn't have a backup of the 2002 video on his account. As for the other two on table (ignoring Douglas Korekach) can't find crap. There is thankfully a video by a YouTuber known as Code Mystics that has this 114,000 score. Link to video (Video is altered to fit in the 10 minute limit YouTube had back in the day) And another by ErkTheJerk for the full 20 minutes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rjdOS42e5E

No. In more than a word: You can confirm this with the current reencode by Guga.

Check yourself, before you wreck yourself. This is a low end system: Link to video As you can see by this low end system. It's still able to check and run a game, something you could've easily done. You made an excuse. I have a mid range system where some games run comfortably (Catherine, Payday, Hitman 2, Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon) and some games well even the HIGH END PCs can't even run at full speed (Tomb Raider (2013), Burnout Paradise). Now let's turn our attention back to PS2 emulator development.

See, here's the issue with your comment you're contradicting yourself and I'll show you: Running Yuzu in libtas
InfamousKnight wrote:
Anyone want to test it?
Something you could've done if you had Linux installed on your system. Running rpcs3 in libtas And here, you should've been able to test it yourself or see into the information instead of just going thread and done, like the Yuzu one. And in comparison to the Yuzu one, well 2 months apart making it possible that you now have a LinuxOS (especially after the comment you left behind on DobieStation -- Here's the git build error you left behind). And I'm ignoring everything else you wrote, cause simply put, I don't believe you on your comments. Especially as they are on the past and you made a post on the present without checking it yourself, which led to two people to comment about the issues with the product. My comment prior to yours has it summed up: "It's clear you haven't attempted to test PS2's rerecording functionality, it's like you're making others do the work for you" by you stating you attempted on the earlier builds.

All I know is that I'll be publishing this, much like I've done in the past for SM. Sniq just get in contact with me about when and what is required for the fixed graphics. Yes Vote.

Now, what do you mean by "hacks"?
Wow, it took you a whole year to respond to that comment. Even when prompting the same question on the libTAS thread you got given a relatively close answer about it. A hack is a hack, it's specific to the game for a specific game fix instead of trying to look into the code and determining why this is caused and if it pops up in other games (which it does). Hacks are meant to be a temporary fix before being outright fixed (see: Dolphin who implement and remove hacks after solving the problem and have relatively low hacks, and better functionality). Echoing Woops. It's clear you haven't attempted to test PS2's rerecording functionality, it's like you're making others do the work for you. And in that case I'll give an answer about PCSX2 TASing in a word. It's trash. It's been trash since PCSX2 crew wanted to do nothing with TASVideos and it will be trash in the future since it's just an implementation they won't give proper time working on it. Unlike Woops I can deal with dumping video by some lucky miracle. Like Christmas. PCSX2 TASing can't be considered as a legitimate way to TAS as in order to use the damn thing you have to watch all the cutscenes and FMV sequences and then pray the ever loving shit that the piece of shit hack doesn't desync for no bullshit reason. As Sonic says "gotta go slow". The other difference is I've been following this scene almost a year after it was conceived (after the declining of making it a TAS emulator). I'll stay on my stance of stating that "PCSX2 didn't give a shit to begin with several years ago and that 'change of heart' now is way to late to get proper support and making it decent and reliable thanks to their decisions." And I'll hold my stance of "waiting on the better emulator to become king, and won't require relying on plugins to hell and back and actually gives a shit in the long run for actual TAS useage like, oh shocker, I'm bringing it up again. DobieStation." So bloody early into it's life and they already want to know how to make it a decently functional TAS emulator. Meanwhile this emulator is 17 years old and it's still garbage.

Thank you for not providing a video in this topic of that "major glitch" that you're on about that you should provide if you're going to mention it in a thread as bare as this which would benefit from such information you're holding onto.

Yeah. That's the same question I wanted to ask. How many loops? A2600 has a dedicated value to tell you if the difficulty has chaanged and is not looping in place. It may be the 4th loop or it may be a few more.

Yes it's uploading it to the userfiles then linking it as a comment. The Judge will replace it for you. However I'm going to warn you. You will be rejected. For TASes like these, just upload it to the userfiles and let it be. For similar information you can look at this rejected submission that used a game genie for increasing Mario's speed. Actually in fact we have had an AISSON TAS that was rejected and used my comment as a basis to as why (which uses the above submission mentioned for notes).

Plus it would be used as an additional file not a file to replace the submission.

As for the credits sequence I think honestly it'd be nice to actually have extended input for publication just for screwing around and adding something more instead of just watching the credits roll.

I think this is a movie that would've gotten a Star rank 5/6 years ago.

Right out of laziness (since we're 4 weeks from April Fools), boredom, curiosity killing cats (and I'm waiting on downloadables atm). The actual rom used was: Mario Party Advance (USA)

The actual rom used was: Brain Games (1982) (Atari) This also applies to: #6320: Darkdevil's A2600 Brain Games "go to college and get a PhD in advanced calculus" in 00:00.02 #6333: Darkdevil's A2600 Snoop Dogg's life "snoop dogg and tydolla$ign kiss and get married an" in 04:01.26 #6335: Darkdevil's A2600 Drake's Life "make drake arrested for life%" in 04:19.45 This "submission" was the only one that changed the Game Name information.

Clarification after realization. Moth and I were talking about two different files as a minor edit came in from DarkDevil came in just before my post. So I was thinking that Moth was on about the Submission file where Moth was really on about the trimmed file.

Oh so basically null and void in that case meaning there's no purpose to trim the file down since it's correct in the first place. Neat.

*232 Also in regards to ending input it's less than 232 due to the fact that SMB has a different frame where input ends. It ends on the axe grab so you have to watch for that frame specifically. There's no point in correcting the file either after what's been brought up.

It appears you have made an error and accidentally uploaded it as a submission where it's slower than the TAS which it will be compared against by Happylee which can be found in this link. Human Theory or Not this is the important part as you are warned that "it beats all known records if going for speed" and that includes the TAS methods such as L+R/U+D. You may have wanted to upload this as a userfile movie instead.

#6351: arkiandruski's DS Elite Beat Agents "low score" in 1:00:52.99 - Spikestuff stop selecting rhythm games that just go dumb. No! #6341: Oshisaure's NES Tetris "square%" in 20:47.15 - It's a bit of a long setup but I enjoyed it. #6344: theenglishman's DS Spanish for Everyone "completo%" in 14:20.66 - The discussion added the extra icing to it. #6348: link_7777's NES Stack-Up "Direct Max Points" in 01:54.31 - I still don't get it. The loss submissions did make me chuckle but the thing is 14 years late unfortunately for me to like 'em but it was a different war between c-square and DrD2k9. (Going to DOS from C64 is cheating, you knew exactly what you were doing!) :V
