I’d recommend you to not hurry with the submission, as your runs look quite dirty and improveable very much for my eye at this time. For the beginning, try to beat some existing run — for example, TheYogWog’s one (which, as I know, is kind of easy to improve, but certainly needs some skill at the same time).

Aglar, Tee-N-Tee, could you probably work together on a new TAS of this game? In all honesty, I’m unable to optimize my runs as good as you guys do. But there are already 3 stages which are known to be improveable: EHZ1, CPZ1 and CNZ2. New TAS could save some seconds even if you don’t improve other stages.

I know of one 1P Shiva TAS, it’s available on YouTube, but the author didn’t provide his input file. The menu selection looks quite sloppy, but the run itself is very impressive.
It’s also completely flawless (after taking Shiva), which makes it even more “impossible” and impressive.

Yet another TAS for my YouTube. I apologize for having so many comments here… Hope at least some of you enjoy my work ^^
Fun fact about this run: it is not much optimized (not intended to be submitted), but during this run Sonic’s X speed exceeds 11000 sp/f and Y speed exceeds 20000 sp/f, which is (almost certainly) significally greater than max speeds in all currently published Sonic the Hedgehog TASes. I only doubt about some Ice Cap runs.
By the way, I know a hack where you can move upwards with acceleration (like if you could abuse farts thrust), you can take almost any Y speed there with ease, I call it like “super mega ultra hyper orbital jump”, because there are many “super jumps”, “orbital jumps” and so on in other hacks / using cheat codes, but this one is absolutely ultimate: you can even overflow your Y speed if you really want. The hack is called Sonic 1 Open Source Project, marzojr says it’s made by a code theif, but I love that hack anyway.

A fun (though probably a bit dangerous) way to see how big is the actual silicon crystal in a transistor.
Link to video(upd) almost forgot my promise to post final look of the amplifier… Well, that’s because I haven’t actually finished it. It is working, but still looks as a demo setup, as I’m missing a good box (and skills to make it myself). But, well, at least I bought a lot of TIP41C and made 2 extra PCBs with them, so I can show you how they look in a test setup. By the way, it sounds perfectly, but only to certain [quite high] volume, then the signal gets clipped because the opamp’s output voltage is capped by ~12 volts (due to the way it’s powered). The extra reason is the low power transformer, which I try to compensate by 4 big capacitors visible on the last photo.

As soon as I find (or buy) a suitable box, I will probably give this one to my mom, as I already have a better (and more powerful) transistor-only one. This one was a “just for fun” project (as most of my TASes) intended to spend time and use those nice metallic op-amps. By the way, I compared Soviet opamps (made in 1985) with a Russian one (made in 2005), and the latter is perfectly balanced out of the box, I didn’t need any external resistors to balance it.
Would be fun to measure all those stuff like THD, voltage change speed and so on, but I have no experience with that… Well, it sounds good, it’s enough for me ^^
(upd2) next time gonna build something a bit more brutal… :)

Wow, you got 0:25::00 in the second act, I hate that kind of result (happens so often for me), it should be possible to gain 1-2 extra frames to get a visibilly better result :)

Kind of. LTRP and Qwerty are [almost] inactive (and that’s the main reason); WAKO had left; me, feeuzz and marzojr prefer Skype groupchat.
However, I prefer to keep the forum for the “emergency case”, if we ever have to discuss something with ability to save the discussions for the future use.
Anyway, let me show you my new TAS. It’s a just for fun project, easilly improveable. It uses a lot of glitches, but the game has much more — for example, when I played this game casually, I randomly caused a level-wrap, which I never saw before — it was like a loop zip, but in the very top of the loop, instead of the bottom. I did not enter the terrain by jumping, like it’s usually done — I was just rolling through the loop normally, and suddenly experienced an instant zip. As I was unable to redo it in TAS mode, I proceeded without it. Hope you’ll enjoy the run even without this trick (I will try to perform it later).

As about the first: I know that, wrote about it a couple of times already. I didn’t know that at all when fighting the boss (and marzojr did not point at it), that’s the reason of that mistake. On the second: time wasted between acts helps to save more time in the second acts by manipulating the moving objects. If you look hard enough, you can also notice some tricky subpixel alignment between Sandopolis 1 and 2. That’s because I had to resync it after redoing act 1, which desynced after redoing MHZ1. It should be already explained in the submission text as well. Anyway, thanks for your feedback, and for your information, I am already working on an improvement — managed to improve AIZ1, AIZ2 and HCZ1. HCZ2 left unmodified, and I am planning to work on MGZ, as DMTM told me he improved it by like 0.5 seconds. I do not know exactly what he did, but I already have some ideas to test myself.
Well, one more thing I want to ask you: could you please try to dig Sandopolis 1 and Sky Sanctuary 1 (ops, forgot, it has only 1 act)? Those stages are very annoying to beat in the way I did, and I would be very glad if someone found shortcuts for them. I know you are very good at speedrunning, and have TASing skill as well.
