Hmm, I'm not sure what to think about this run. For one, the game seems interesting. However, Firebrand's moving speed is nothing short from pathetic, in any of his forms. I couldn't help but use fastforward in a few wait-for-something-to-appear and overhead sections.
With that in mind, I'm really not sure if collecting all health extensions really adds any substantial entertainment to the run. For a pure any%, I'd likely vote yes. This run is borderline for me.
Nice one. :)
Locking those probably wasn't a right decision; then again, neither of them covers SSBB as a whole and we don't have a dedicated SSBB topic, either.

Bombjumping was supposed to be possible (and even endorsed by developers through ingame demo and the first trailers), but all items Dfangs took it with, while accessible through bombjumping, can as well be accessible through other means: shinespark, space jump, springball, or other scenery elements.
Lol, good luck having "fights optional bosses" as a separate category.
Anyway, my point is that shortening a 3.5 hour long run by a few minutes by removing the more entertaining parts of it is kind of… bad.
As much as I would like you to use this trick some more, it's a good point that boss battles are pretty much the only interesting thing in RPG runs, especially in Chrono Trigger, since there is no insta-kill spells available to characters in it (which is very good). It would be ok with me if you leave the boss battles intacts.
Btw, great discoveries. I'm very much looking forward to this run (though I'm not fond of RPG runs in general, this is definitely the one to look for).
A bit is a binary digit, it can take a form of 0 or 1. That's everything there is to a bit. Try reading everything people above said and linked to you, it's explained everywhere if you just try to search for it one bit (accidental pun).
Holy crap, I thought the run was amazing until the full-suit phase, but after it it became FUCKING INCREDIBLE.
10 in entertainment, that's for sure.
Btw, does the powerbomb shockwave expand faster than spaceboosting?
Looks like the method I posted above, but by my calculations it's 2.20833 px/f, not 2.17677. Are you taking into account the one frame stop after a cycle? IIRC, I used 30 or so cycles to average out the stops.
Aww, sad to hear that, Zoizite. :\
It might be that I and some other players will give it a shot in the [possibly] near future, though; so anyway, thanks for your help.
Warp's point still stands, though. Seems like the relevant MovieStatistics panes are now useless as they don't represent the real numbers anymore, unless you're meaning to restore it somehow. Having Track & Field as one of the most downloaded AVIs makes my head go round.
