I have to admit, I'm liking the arguments here, but all I can offer is this: I do a TON of BOTing, which bloats the re-record count; however, it was true effort in searching for the end result. With an upcoming release, my new BOTing will now require that I manually change the value to be 16 times that of a single instance....since I have moved into a new type of speedy BOTing. (Multi-Instance) As for manual effort, re-records on my part do show my effort. As time goes by, my re-record count is getting lower and lower...only because I have improved over the years and don't need to do as much experimenting to figure things out. Now...I can be fine with it being left for public viewing, but I am finding myself not looking at it anymore.

Meanwhile, I was wondering if you'd like the idea of producing an additional movie file that aims for 1st place in all tracks. Nowadays we can easily have multiple movie files for the same publication page, so it could be a nice addition for making all kind of audiences happy. Only if you really feel like doing it, though.
I can do that. Just note, it would end up being an edited run of all the IGT bests. So it would mimic the effort of a pure IGT TAS. I would have to write a lua to help the publisher piece it together though. Give me a day or so.

I have found 3 frames. Because you have an open invitation for co-authorship, I am requesting to be added to your submission. https://tasvideos.org/UserFiles/Info/638150579039424634 Because of that, I am dropping my judgement for another staff member to take up.

I'm annoyed at myself for not finding anything in your previous submission. This just tells you how much time you need to spend with a game to understand it better. I'm going to give this a quick review again.

What's the amount of the non-botted rerecords? Even if you can't retrieve the accurate amount, a rough estimate would already be good.
Honestly...I don't really know. Probably 99% of the re-records were optimized by my BOT. I would be fine if it were set to "zero".

You know, I recognized some of the graphics in here and though of Peril. I looked it up and I was right! The developer made this game as well. I love these games by Vladimir Zúñiga. Yes vote.

I am glad and irritated at the same time at a new finding. I was watching a run, posted by YouTuber "Lost 8-bit Caverns" and his newest Rambo Run. Well, I had an idea from it and I just tested it out. I can't believe this, but I found another way to use the "zip" that I discovered. I need to request a delay, while I fix my run to incorporate this new strategy. No need to delay. The fix was easier to implement than I hoped. It ended up cutting 42 seconds from my previous input file. File was replaced.

By the way, is there an in-game time version of this TAS as well, like for the original F-Zero TAS? I'm asking because I'm personally more interested into individual track records.
There can be...I just have to collect up my 1st place finishes and have them pieced together, as we did the F-Zero version.

I thought it would be worth mentioning, but if I were to have created a TAS against this version with one of today's Chess AIs...it would have taken the Intellivsion more seriously and played less risky to ensure a victory. Instead of 20 moves, it could have been a few more...with tons of time added. As I tested this TAS, against a modern chess AI...I saw more proper "book" moves at the beginning and thus would have led to a delay in the middle game. Winslnator did well to use the known tactics discovered over the years against this game. This submission reminds me of people that knew of their opponents weakness and did everything they could to embarrass them.

I hate it when this happens... If any of you have seen my documentary, strike what I said about the fuel level can't be zero in order for the glitch to work. I just found out more information on the refuel glitch. I'm going to update my submission with notes, and will get a revised input file out soon. I'm glad that I caught this in time. :(

I wondered if that was it. I noticed before the use of it, certain things weren't happening. For instance, there is a helicopter blade flashing in the right bottom...after the first fight. Basically, because the zip shows Rambo changing through multiple graphics, I think the same could be true for the ending statement.

The helicopter fight was something that has bugged me for a while. I was able to eliminate all the lag, before this fight, but not able to figure out the reduction during the shootout. Today...I had a revelation, and it worked. All lag has been removed! This is the remaining 6 frames of lag that I was previously not able to eliminate. https://tasvideos.org/UserFiles/Info/638092648063312354 Admin or Judge, can you please replace my submission movie file?

I had a feeling that Screen 7 was not optimal, and I was right. After trying some ideas, I finally realized something about the mechanics that aren't quite clear; however, I was able to reproduce it to provide a new updated movie file with 67 frames improvement. Basically, I found that the car's turning can be controlled in a minor way with the accelerator. What this means is that I was able to turn faster and cut the corner in a sharper manner. It seems to be more of a timer used to control the rate of the car's turn, and not lag as I originally attributed it to. I'm still not 100% sure of this, but the idea did help to cut more than I expected across all screens. Judge or Admin...the following link is the updated movie. Thanks. https://tasvideos.org/UserFiles/Info/638078882108778631
