I can't believe I thought this was going to be an easy game to TAS, back in 2021. LOL I have to say though...I enjoyed this rework. DrD2k9 is the real deal. Where I was concerned more with BOTing RNG to open up routes, he was able to study the movement optimization and produce results that made this TAS way more optimized than i would have expected. Thankfully, I had learned a lot about controlling RNG the first time through. This time, I was able to be more creative with how I automated the appearances of the Yellow Blocks. Having to start over again was very daunting, but I'm feeling a great reward for putting in this extra work. Next time...I'll ask DrD2k9 to judge my TAS privately before submitting! LOL

We are almost at the end of our review. DrD2k9 has handed over his final BK2 file, which takes us half-way through Room 14. The rest is an RNG task for me to finish. It is a matter of days before we will hand over our polished inputs.

I'm curious, but in this situation...you would have to play more than one level for this to satisfy the rules. If there is no end in sight, hence a looping game, you'll have to at least TAS the game until the difficulty no longer increases. The RTA video that you posted, shows a dramatically different level on round 2. This is an indicator that new content still exists and that further inputs are needed to showcase the full content of the game. If your intent was to truly demo the game for this community, it would be better that you post this as a WIP. That way, anyone interested could give feedback.

What a great game! Still amazed to see such development for this amazing console. I was surprised by this and couldn't stop watching. I can only imagine how hard this game has been for runners, especially considering how much time you have to clear each screen (I'm guessing that is a count down timer in the upper left?). I am nominating Sniq. All the work I have ever been briefed, or collaborated with him on, has yielded very little or no improvements against any TAS he has produced. Even though Sniq has submitted once this year, his optimization skills are amazing and my highest point for bringing him up as a candidate for this category.

At the beginning, I really didn't understand why someone would have TASed this, and then the heavy stuff came! This seems to be a progressive coarse where more and more skill is required to reach the end. Well, I like this game and I definitely see a reason for TASing it. Speedrunners must hate this game! :) Yes vote. On the technical side, I too recognize some optimizations issues, but I wasn't sure if it was game mechanics or not. Do keep trying!

This cut is amazing. I once thought of looking into further improvements, after Alyosha last submitted it. The difference in strategy is more like I would have tried, since clearing all the aliens out in a row, only makes them drop slower. Having the outside rows remain is excellent and allows faster shooting.
