When I saw the title of the game, I immediately expected to see a glitch-fest & wasn't disappointed with the result.
I knew some of the bugs, but not all of them, so it was a nice unexpected run. I really loved the penalty kick moment.
Voting yes :D
If Glass Joe can refill when he hits you, couldn't you go to the next round with more health to let him hit you, so that you could him more times? (and therefore obtaining more points)
Other than that, looks good :)
Cool, I had not much to do today, I'm going to watch it :)
Edit: Watched it, seems like you forgot to edit the first 2 maps to change the small details I mentioned on the forum (changing settings ASAP to "no animation" & move the Artillery 1 space less to avoid the refill). Those are small errors that would only save a few frames, so is not a big deal.
Ignoring that, the run looks great, I loved the maps with +2 COs where you only deploy as few units as necessary.
Voting yes :D
I really liked the choke-point on one of Sensei's map, so I suggest the next image:
This bug is what's currently spoken on MFO's board, it's named "air-ground glitch" or just "AGG". With this bug, you'll likely top all the speed records...
Floating & turning around was known ages ago. What is new is that someone found a way to refill your energy while floating, therefore being able to do stuff like starting a lap with max speed & so on...

You use the RAM search to look for valuable information not found in the game (I mean, playing normally).
In RPG games, you usually look where the attributes of players & enemies (Hp, Mp, Stats, etc.); in Platform games, you look for the character's speed (as adelikat point how) & so on.
Here's a link with more information about Memory Search
I would say that most likely the wall detection code doesn't actualize fast enough when you pause & unpause the game to fast & that's the reason you can pass walls as shown on the video...
BTW, just read on the video that it doesn't seem to work well on GP as it detects you as going backwards & loosing position, and if you go to low, you'll forfeit...
lol, that's just broken, to bad that it's kinda monotonous. Do you know if the same strategy can apply on all the courses?
Either way, I would love to see a TAS of this game (and F-zero X). BTW midiman, do you know if JKT would pick up F-zero X again? His videos where really cool.
I don't think it would be that interesting if you're going to be space flying (that's the fastest way to beat a course, although you would need to obtains parts & create a car - or use a file that has them unlocked), although if it's going to be a snaking tas, that would be more interesting... (still, it would have the same problem of creating a car or unlocking a good one)...
I liked the WIP so far, Subzero thinking he got you with his freezing move :P. Also, I find it kinda funny that only Liu Kang's fatality doesn't darken the screen.
If you're going to perform some bugs, there's a way to have the dark background with Liu Kang's Fatality (actually the whole round has the dark background), though it's very timing consuming. You would need to win only once until the 5th round, you'll have to draw the others (you could even can afford to lose one). I can't remember if this is only doable in a normal game nor I remember if drawing by KO was possible (well it might, but maybe each one gets a round victory disabling now the bug)...
If you're interested, I know more bugs for this game, although it's been a long time since I played this game, that I might had forgotten some steps XD
Thanks for putting a video on youtube pirohiko.
I really liked the run, instead of looking like the enemy was playing at its highest level, you made it fool of him winning with some quick combos, I loved that (& specially when you cleaned all the puyos on screen).

Henry Hatsworth:
A surprisingly good game. multi-tasking, hardcore game at best.
I'm currently playing that game on the DS & think it would make a good TAS. With the option to switch from a an Adventure game to a Puzzle, I'm sure it won't be boring at all.
The reason probably is that you try to play it with a correct ROM, because this one runs with a screen about mode 7...
If is not that, well I used VBA 1.7.2 re-recording v21 & was able to watch the WIP :)
As for the run, so far so good. Keep it up fetofs :)
