Aaalright, Super Metroid low%. As expected, the TAS looks incredibly well planned and executed. The strategies to deal with Maridia without the Gravity Suit were very interesting. While I have to admit the Mother Brain fight gave me plenty of time to admire the background scenery, the rest of the movie was much quicker and had less downtime than I anticipated. The playaround segments were very entertaining to watch as well. Yes vote for entertainment, and I'm very glad we finally have an up to date low% for this game.

Interesting. The game didn't look exceedingly complex, though it was short enough to be watchable. I have to question though if it may be possible to manipulate the enemies better, especially in some of the later levels. Meh vote in terms of entertainment.

I have absolutely no clue about Baseball as a sport or this game. This encode might actually be desyncing and I wouldn't know. Link to video

This was a thoroughly excellent run. I was amazed by just how fast you can go in DE, and the continuous bashes and OOB were really cool as well. I so wish this run could be submitted to the workbench, because it would be my Windows TAS of 2016.

I for one approve of Shantae headbanging to the music.

Thanks, solarplex, for the encode! I've been anticipating this run for quite a while, and I was not disappointed. The run looks expertly planned and executed, and the new tricks were incredibly cool. Stunning run, and an easy yes vote from me.

With respect to the choice of version, it strikes me that using the latest available patch is often a good way to define "glitchless". How do you know whether something was intended or not? Well if the developers fixed it in a later patch, it probably wasn't intended. (Of course, this relies on there being no glitches that make their way through all the patches without the developers fixing them, despite the fact that they want to.)
It also happens frequently that developers inadvertently introduce new glitches in patches of the game. For example, the 2007 version of the Source engine introduced a glitch called ABH that wasn't in the original version of Half-Life 2. While "latest patch" may work well to define glitchless in some games, it's not universal.

Nice work, but I think you missed an improvement in Level 3. You should really optimize your movies better before submitting them here.

I'm glad to see the old Castlevania runs being updated. I think you overlooked this, however: Link to video You also jump many times during the graveyard section in Block 1. If I remember right, you can manipulate the zombies by turning around for a frame, which is much faster than jumping.

The new Dracula fight looks much better now, good job. Two miscellaneous notes on the updated version: 1. What's up with that glitched set of tiles in the lower left corner? I've never seen that before. Can you walk on it? 2. I wasn't aware Drac's second form could drop a heart. I would've used it in the old run, had I known about it. You learn something new every day.

Alright, I did not see this coming. The reason I never did a run of this route was that I'm convinced that you can activate ACE in the Japanese version right in the clock tower. Despite Mothrayas' and my best efforts, it was impossible to find a way that wouldn't result in the game crashing. Regardless, I'm very glad that there's finally a showcase for the craziness that the stair glitch brings. This run looks well optimized too, and the old Grant run was certainly in need of an update. Yes vote.

Yes vote. Because staying in bounds is for squares.
