Ну все как всегда, с одной стороны закопался в эмуляцию джавы, с другой на статью про устройство эмулятора (начатую год назад) дедлайн поставили, вот как тут время выкраивать?

Are you using an official release? If so, open the file with the latest 7-Zip and remove the GreenZone file. If you're using an interim I provided in the tastudio thread, then it simply must work right away.

Interestingly, mvtools 2.5.11.3 crashes for me with Osman HD encode, when I use original aspect ratio. It doesn't when I pick 4:3, even though the source is 4:3 already, and sar options aren't used in HD command line!
2.5.11.20 doesn't crash.
I was just about to debug, but since I worked around it, nah.

The license of this thing is quite interesting. Are there any experts around, that could tell if it's theoretically possible to post the modified source to github? Otherwise, we can only distribute patches, like gnupoc does. Because there's no way to actually make sure the one who decides to obtain the sources is in fact a licensee.

There's also this open source emulator from Sun:

It works (after some real magic), but has little to no sound, and doesn't support some more complex midlets. But it's written in C. In theory, it could be turned into a rerecording thing. It's not for msvc though.
The easiest way to use it is:
midp -install URL-to-the-jar-file
midp -run the-resulting-storage-entry
The screen is fixed and small btw, so this also would need hacking.
