level 1-1
Some lag appears at the beginning of the level because of all the balloons. and when i jump on the water. Sprites are surely the reason for that. I'm pretty sure it could be avoided though maybe not. I tried Bringing a clown to throw on the boss but the thing woke up before he arrived.
He has 48 hp. With the default outfit i had to jump on his head 6 times to kill him. Usually it takes more hits than that but
when 2 players hit the enemy on the same frame, damage is doubled.
Level 1-2
Sadly, i have to go see Donald Duck to get the Sweeper Outfit. I go back blocks appear i go up then while swinging i change back to default. I do this for the following reasons: In the next section there is a nice slope with yellow blocks blocking my path. I tried jumping over them but an unavoidable cannon ball would strike me every time. Changing at this point doesn't matter since at the beginning of the next stage i automatically change back to default to get the safari outfit.
Like the Wiesel, the lion has 48 hp. The default the sweeper and the Safari outfits deals the same amount of damage (4). Sucking his hairballs does not affect his life points.
Level 2-1
Sliding down vines is the fastest way since it boosts up to 4 times the walking speed. I tried keeping the speed as long as i could but it would go down to 1 every time. You will notice further in the game, player 1 walks while player 2 jumps and they are going at the same speed so i think jumping continuously isn't the key like in MQ.
This battle is the worst. I tried manipulating him the best i could. Only once he skipped his "Water Splasher". I'm not saying that he is unmanipulable, I'm just saying that i couldn't. The jumping glitch does not work for the turtle. He has 8 hp and it takes 8 hits to kill him. I tried making this entertaining so that you don't fall asleep.
Level 2-2
Usually you have to take a longer route than that to get to the vine section. I decided to go up by wall climbing which is much faster. I take damage on 2 players and use death on Minnie. Looking back on it now, i am pretty sure the death could have been avoided at this point but it did not affect the run i think. While going down the vines my only problem was the flying squirrels and the fact that both player had to arrive at the end at the same time (maybe a death could have help here). I kept Minnie in front to avoid the first gas and then it was all about taking damage and using the invincibility animation. When taking a hit you bounce backwards unlike when hooked on something. I think, the only avoidable gas is the first and last one.
Has 48 hp. I hit him as soon as possible, taking damage while hooked on wall. The rest was pretty simple. With the Safari outfit each player deals 4 damage point.
Level 3-1
I receive the Cowboy suit finally! I would have liked to use the dash all the time but it wasn't always possible since jumping is impossible until the horse has stopped. Next, i have to jump on skeletons to continue. I jump on the second bone head as soon as it comes out then i use the dash to skip the next pair of skeleton. After, i use the dash all the way to the boss.
Has 84 hp and with the cowboy outfit both players deal 8 each while jumping on his head. The battle process for the first portrait battle is not like the second one, like many would think. Though i just noticed 1 mistake i have done and that is not dashing after the battle to reach the end.
Level 3-2
I start by changing into the safari outfit which
has to be done while both players are on the ground and standing still. I have to grab the hook backwards so that when the rolling animation stops i am facing the right direction. Swinging on hooks can boost your speed to 2 but not for long. Then i change back to cowboy outfit. I use the dash to skip the first two holes then continue dashing until i reach the tower. Here i try to use the dash as much as possible but some ghosts need to be shot for me to continue.
When fully charged you can shoot or just let go of "Y" and the charged animation will stay, this also allows you to jump on things you usually cant like the candles. It wasn't easy but i think it looks OK.
Has 48 hp and the best way to kill him is by shooting him with corks. Shooting deals 5 from each player. I shoot him as soon as he appears.
Level 4-1
The turtle was the worst battle and this is the worst level. Its a scroller and i have to change outfit twice in it. the one thing i hate most (besides water levels) is scrolling levels. I tried climbing up to the top but it is impossible and useless also since once at the top you must wait for the screen to arrive. I should have just made something nice to watch but i wanted people to see that. Then i go downhill but for a weird reason, i could not keep my speed after jumping. Maybe its because of the water. In the next section i must swing on the hooks to make the spikes fall. My only problem here was two flying crystals that blocked my path. Finding a way to avoid these would help a lot. Then i go up by jumping on these laser beams and i have to wait for the third one, sadly.
Has 56 hp. I start by jumping on his head which took 8 hp then changed into cowboy outfit. As soon as i finished changing his invincible animation stopped so this allowed me to shoot him a lot sooner. Shooting this boss deals 12 damage points with two player so his hp is now at 36. I then jump on his head which took 16 points. I jump again he has 4 left then one player shoots him and he is gone.
Level 4-2
I keep the Cowboy Outfit to jump the two first holes but then have to change back to Safari. I run downhill as much as possible avoiding the ant and shell then i go up a small wall that could only be done with the Safari Outfit.
Has 80 hp. I change to Cowboy outfit because it deals most damage. With both players i deal 16 points damage (8 points each). Every hit was manipulated so that he would appear as low as possible. The final blow was the only one that was unavoidable. It was either appearing high or he would have started walking again so i chose.
Level 5-1
I start by hitting a timer block. While time has stopped, i can pass through enemies. Then Minnie passes Mickey with a dash that Mickey couldn't do because of spikes. This helped because Mickey protected Minnie while shooting spikes that would fall on her head. The only problem was arriving at the end at the same time.
Has 40 hp. I start by shooting him which took 12 hp. Then i jump on him. That took 16 hp. After that he has 12 hp left so i jump on him one last time. I could have just shot him and he would also have died. That was quite an easy battle.
Level 5-2
Yay, a water level! I used the dash as much as possible. The only problem was getting some air without losing time. In the next section, i had to change into Safari Outfit. Everything went well, except for Minnie, she had to avoid some enemies to keep track but that did not affect time.
Has 96 hp. I change into Sweeper Outfit since it is the only way to kill him then i suck his life away. The trick is that, his hp will go down much slower if you suck him two at a time. You have to take turns and his life bar will go straight down.
Level 6-1
I change once again into Safari Outfit. I easily avoid the first hook then take damage with Minnie. After, i slide down the vine to reach a wall. Having Minnie far behind helped manipulate luck at that point. As i climb the wall with Mickey, the screen stayed low so the boulder did not hit me. Arriving at the top i had to duck down for a couple of frames to avoid taking damage from the boulder. In the next section, Minnie takes the lead. A ghost appeared giving her the opportunity to take a small shortcut.
Has 72 hp but with the Cowboy Outfit i still defeat him much faster than the first one.
Has the same amount of hp. I tried to manipulated him as much as i could but the battle was actually
2 frames slower. At least i did not forget to dash at the end of this one.
Level 6-2
Mickey uses a small shortcut by jumping on the ghost to get to the gap while Minnnie wait for the block to arrive. Next, i had to manipulate luck with the fire breathing heads. Then i dashed on a block and went through the block in front of me. I don't know if its a glitch, a program error, i don't know but it helped a lot. I change to Safari to go up the wall and straight to the final battle... OK, i change one last time into Cowboy Outfit.
Has 96 hp. I can change outfit and not lose any time at that point because of the appearing animation from Pete. To jump on his head you must break is helmet. You can shoot him without breaking his bonehead but jumping on his head kills him faster.
Has 68 hp and for the final blow i shoot him as far as possible so that i stop the movie earlier.
Things that could be improved? Well.. A couple of things. Lets start with gaining less points, better boss manipulation, the lag from the first level, both players reaching the end of levels at the same time, better calculation of bosses hp and damage dealing, outfit changing (more precise and less change) and missing dash from first portrait battle. Now I'm sure someone somewhere could find many more.
