An army of monsters has invaded Monster World, prompting the young Shion to undertake a quest to save his land. His adventure takes him through various environments--desert, forest, and even underwater--in order to gain the items necessary to progress.

In this run, The8bitbeast uses movement glitches and strategic pausing to skip entire sections of the game. Details are in the author's comments.

Note: One of the glitches causes music not to play on the next screen. The author has provided an encode with music restored here.
