Game objectives

  • Emulator used: BizHawk 1.8.2
  • Takes damage to save time
  • Uses death to save time
  • Screws with every basic law of physics
  • Aims for fastest time

About the game

Zook Hero Z is the prequel of Rockman DX3 (also known as Zook Hero 2), created by Taiwanese unlicensed game developer Vast Fame. Even moreso than its sequel, it is a clear rip off of Mega Man and Mega Man X. The engine is practically exactly the same, which means that all the physics-defying movement tricks of the RDX3 run are also applied here.

I enter a few stages, destroy a few bosses, get a few upgrades (the usual) before going to Dr. Mean's fortress and beating him there. Credits ensue.

Stage-by-stage comments

Tompa: I'll go ahead and judge!

Tompa: Nice WIP. Looking forward to see the full version! Rejecting because the TAS did not complete the game. (The Youtube video was edited to include the ending.)
