Author's comments and explanations:
This movie was recorded with FCEU.

Battletoads and Double Dragon is a somewhat obscure game where you play as any of the Battletoads or either of the Dragon twins, and fight villains from both games, ending with another showdown with the Dark Queen.

My goal in this time attack was to complete the game quickly, with a maximum score and without taking a single hit. The latter was the more difficult to perform, most notably in the spaceship stage, where there can be so many shots on screen that they start to overlap one another and you cannot tell where the enemy's shots are.

Another tough aspect was fighting the bosses without being hit, since your 'toad tends to use the slow boot attack when the enemy's stunned. But by manipulating luck, I was able to maneuver the boss into using a slow move of their own, giving me enough time to get an attack in.

No warps or passwords are used. There are three bugs utilized; one is during the boss fight where the enemy hides behind a door and tosses dynamite. By tossing dynamite just after he's defeated, you can get an extra 2000 points.
%% Another is done by timing the rope repelase during the shaft scenes, where you narrowly avoid falling into the pit as you fall. This one is just done to show off a bit.
%% Finally, if you get behind the guns in the second shaft and do the "wrecking ball" attack, you can bounce them up to ten times and get a ton of points. I utilize this to rack up points.
%% One last note: I deliberately miss one mine in the spaceship stage. This is due to the fact that the small, round mines stop giving points after you destroy a certain number of them.

Phil: Personally, I can see a couple of errors in this video and there's already a faster movie.
