Author's comments and explanations:
Well, here it is... My first TAS! I have decided to to a Human Theory TAS do to the familiar nature of the TAS to us speedrun binge-watchers. It's not perfect, but its the best thing I have made!

Game objectives

  • Emulator used: BizHawk 2.2.2
  • Show the realistic fastest possible time that can be achieved by a human

Stage by stage comments

8-1

In 8-1, I used the framerule saver discovered by StuckInAPlate using Sockfolder's FPG ROM Hack. It is just barely possible to do by a human.

8-3

You might be wondering: "Why isn't there a flagpole glitch here?" And the answer is: Subpixels are stupid sonetimes.

Other comments

These are the tricks used in the run:
  • 1-1: FPG
  • 1-2: Pipe Clip
  • 4-1: FPG
  • 4-2: xx_420_blazit_xx wall clip
  • 8-1: FPG
  • 8-2: BBG
  • 8-4: Fast Accelerations
The best known way right now to save an extra framerule is to preform FPG in world 8-3.

Nach: Hello, and thank you for submitting your first TAS. TAS's must beat all existing records, and this does not do so. Our rules are at MovieRules, and are not that of other web sites. We hope to see you return with more optimized TASs in the future. Canceling.
