People always say: "Look how much longer it takes to select wario!"
But they never ask: "How quickly can you select wario?"... until you stop asking that yourself.
This TAS aimed to answer that question without the use of cheats. ie without pressing left. pressing left is cheating. its a banned, forbidden technique.
Game objectives

- breaks the space and time continum because another fictional character besides mario is killed

I insert a memory card because if i dont a warning message will show up and im forced to press left once and thats not fun.
Simple menuing and all. But then... disaster struck.
After playing back the movie... it desynced. You would think it was because of a mistake i made. or dolphin being dolphin... but no. its because of a more mindblowing reason.
Wario, on his way to enter the production room for the character select screen, suffered... a rather unfortunate car accident.
First Mario gets executed and then this happens to Wario!? Who cares he commited crimes and called you a cheater, he definitely didnt deserve this, he just wanted to show you fun. I'm calling a lawyer.
Now we will host the funeral March 31st 2022. Unless you know of any risk free ritual to bring him back to life... or resync a dolphin movie so never i guess lmao.

Samsara: Not gonna lie, the branch name was much funnier when it was "Selects Wario but something goes wrong, the movie desyncs and wario dies instead. 0x left presses". There's something about the full stop and then the addition of 0x left presses that really just tickled the ol' funny bone, and now that's gone, and it can never come back.
