It was originally released on Xbox Live Arcade before being ported to other platforms. A major feature of the game is the player's unlimited ability to reverse time and "rewind" actions, even after dying. The game itself was intended to be an artful deconstruction of traditional video game concepts. Many tricks are used to complete the speedrun mode in an astounding 20:11.17 according to the internal timer; see the author's comments for more information. If you understand French pretty well, you may be interested in watching the special episode of Speed Game, featuring commentary from Coeurdevandale and the author of this TAS, keylie. Jetpack is a platformer game (now freeware), featuring a man equipped with a jetpack which he uses for flying (if it has fuel, otherwise he can jump) and a phase shifter for temporarily getting rid of troublesome bricks. His goal is to collect all the green gems in 100 devilish stages and avoid hordes of enemies.
In this extremely carefully planned run, slamo completes the game in 32 minutes and 22 seconds with large heaps of luck manipulation and glitch abuse. A normal player would barely get through the first 10 levels in that amount of time.
Prepare to be blown away watching large complex levels completed in under 20 seconds on average. Enjoy seeing extremely tight movement with enemies all around without getting hit, or getting hit yet somehow managing to complete the level anyway. Be dazzled as a dozen teleporters are all simultaneously manipulated to keep enemies away from our hero. Be sure not to fall off your seat when you see Jetman passing through spikes unharmed or completing levels with just the right amount of fuel, and narrowly avoiding certain doom from becoming trapped in reappearing walls.
Practically every aspect of the game was carefully analyzed and thoroughly documented by our users, slamo, Svimmer, Ilari, Nach, creaothceann, and hegyak for the creation of this run. This includes full level maps, with secrets in plain view.
Since the action is so fast paced, there's an alternate YouTube encode at 43% speed, and alternate download encodes at 50% and 75% speeds. It is recommended to watch this run at a slower speed to fully appreciate the timing and many of the tricks performed.

Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. fighting game series is rather different from your typical fighting game. Instead of wearing your opponent's health down to 0, you must knock him or her out of the battlefield. Damage counts upwards, with knockback from attacks that hit you becoming more severe as your damage increases. Fighting controls are also simplified, making it very easy for even your non-gaming friends to pick up and play. Super Smash Bros. Melee offers fighters from the wealth of Nintendo characters like Mario, Bowser, different Pokémon, Link, and Kirby. They can either fight through the single-player modes like Classic, Adventure, and Event Mode, or they battle it out against other characters in a four-player frenzy. Additional characters and stages are unlocked as hidden objectives are met, and coins rewarded for playing in all modes can be spent on a capsule toy machine. The toys in the machine represent games from Nintendo's entire video game history, and each can be viewed in 3D with a brief description. In this TAS, numerics plays through Adventure Mode with Samus, abusing glitches to move through the stages at a high rate of speed while making the battles as entertaining as possible. Super Scribblenauts is the sequel to Scribblenauts, a puzzle game for the DS consisting of spawning any object from a database of thousands of possibilities (from "chair" to "God") to solve given situations. It is fundamentally the same game with two major novelties: the possibility to add adjectives (a color, a size, a state, etc.) to the objects we want to summon and the possibility to use the D-Pad to control Maxwell, the protagonist of both games, in addition to the touch screen, the only possible input method in the first installment. This TAS completes the 10 main worlds of Super Scribblenauts. Speed is not the main goal; instead, the levels are completed in funny or unusual ways.

Is there any way to get more ridiculous than that? In this run, using nothing but the Game Boy buttons and tool-assisted precision, the game is made to run an arbitrary program. For details on how this was achieved, see the author's comments. This movie improves upon its predecessor by never having to leave Ash's room to gain full control of execution flow. However, that movie has a very different kind of payload at the end, and is worth watching as well. Both movies apply the idea that TASing is programming input rather than playing the game. This run completes the game with 100% item collection, at least as far as the end-of-game display is concerned. This is an improvement to cpadolf's 100% TAS, beating it by 38.26 seconds, 32 seconds on the ingame timer. A large part of this (29 realtime seconds, 17 ingame seconds) is because of a few route changes during the item cleanup after getting Power Bombs, but it's also because of higher optimization, faster room strategies, and better ammo management throughout the run. However, since this run is also made on a newer emulator than the published run, every room transition takes 1-2 frames longer, and the screen explaining a newly picked up item (not expansions) is a few frames slower as well.

This movie has been obsoleted!Click here to see the movie that obsoleted it.Pokémon: Blue Version is part of the first generation of games within its famous series, known for having a very large number of beneficial glitches. In fact, the game can be completed in less than one minute of in-game time using save data corruption (as evidenced in the run of the Yellow Version), but this run avoids such techniques in favor of activating an entirely different glitch. This is an improvement of 9:00.78 over the previous run in this category, which used a similar glitch to the more heavily glitched categories. You might want to check out the run that avoids glitched warps for an example of quickly completing the game without corrupting the memory. However, a bug was discovered which caused unpredictable results (including triggering the credits) upon using the Stone power while entering the water. This movie saves over five minutes from its predecessor. This is because instead of playing multiple levels to reach a spot for the glitch, a new wall-clipping trick is used in the third room of the very first level. This movie was also the result of an intense frame war that spawned over a dozen attempts and ultimately resulted in an improvement of over 3 seconds of the initial attempt. This movie has two YouTube encodes. The primary version has deliberately glitched ending graphics, whereas the second one displays proper graphics. Both versions have identical input except for the last frame.

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island is a vibrant, colorful and fun game that stars the popular Yoshi. From a technical standpoint, the game is very exceptional on the SNES due to its use of the SuperFX² coprocessor. The chip allows for many cool special effects that are otherwise impossible on the SNES.
This is a 100% completion of the game. It plays through all the levels and collects every item that contributes to end-of-level score: 5 flowers, 20 red coins, and 30 stars. By getting 100% completion in each stage, six extra stages are also unlocked. These are played at the end of the run, again with 100% scores.
The authors of the run have spent over three years working on this run, showing off plenty of egg juggling, precise shots, and other incredible antics. This run does not use certain glitches present in the other runs of the game (an any% run and a warp glitch run), but there should still be plenty to surprise you. Reading the authors' lengthy comments is recommended.
