Hello there! My name is Brandon Evans. I'm a Computer Science Major and have been programming since 2004. I was born on February 11, 1992. I became an editor on February 19, 2011, an encoder on February 21, 2011, a coder on February 22, 2011, and a publisher on March 11, 2011. After the new roles were created on July 18, 2011, my publisher role obsoleted the encoder one, and my coder role became "Site code developer." I also began console verifying on April 24, 2011. Finally and most importantly, I became a player on May 31, 2011. My YouTube channel hosts more of the videos used for both current and obsolete movies here than any other channel, and contains roughly half of the console verification movies. I publish whenever I have the chance, and work on the backend of this site as well as program emulators when I feel inclined to. You can find my personal website here, and my TASing repository here. Thanks for visiting!

| The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle is a frustrating action puzzler. In it, you take control of Bugs as he collects carrots while avoiding enemies such as Sylvester the Cat, Daffy Duck, Yosemite Sam, and Wile E. Coyote. Equipped with nothing but an occasional boxing glove which he can throw and some invincibility potions, Bugs must eat his way through 60 levels without getting trapped by a mob of Looney Tunes.
In this run, the author, Brandon, exploits the game's AI, which is everything but intelligent. Only one of these enemies follow actual movement, while the others will track your input, even if the input changes nothing. As such, the author is able to often render the enemies useless, allowing him to take the most optimal path. When he can't do this, he tries to find the best possible workaround, often pausing for the exact right amount of time to make it past a baddie. As a secondary goal, the author also attempts to maximize the score without losing time. For more details, as always, please see the author's notes, and also make sure to watch the captions provided in the encodes.
This author has also created a run of this game's "Special Levels".
This run has two YouTube steams. The first contains no input display while the second one does. This was included as the luck manipulation is heavily based on input, and it's hard to follow the run otherwise.

| The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle is a frustrating action puzzler. In it, you take control of Bugs as he collects carrots while avoiding enemies such as Sylvester the Cat, Daffy Duck, Yosemite Sam, and Wile E. Coyote.
This game features 4 "Special Levels" which can be accessed either by the "No Carrot Signs" found in several levels or by a password. In this run, the author, Brandon, completes these difficult levels with absolutely no help from the boxing gloves and potions featured in the main game. All he has to work with is precise movement and luck manipulation, and although this, coupled with the numerous enemies, make these levels far less trivial than the main ones, the completion time is still relatively small. Much of the length of this movie is a result of the unavoidable and abnormally long tube scenes in S4 and S1. For more details, as always, please see the author's notes, and also make sure to watch the captions provided in the encodes.
This author has also created a run of the main game.

| Spider-Man/X-Men: Arcade's Revenge is an action platformer starring the iconic Marvel characters Spider-Man, Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, and Gambit. After the X-Men get kidnapped by Arcade, Spider-Man must deactivate bombs, infiltrate the abandoned building where they were taken, and confront Arcade. From there, Arcade puts each hero to the test as they navigate through his bizarre "Murderworld" until Spider-Man can finally confront the madman head-on. This infamous game was made by LJN, and although it might be better than many others from that label, it still has serious gameplay flaws that make it frustrating, let alone incredibly difficult. However, it works great for a TAS. Using careful precision and many exploits, the team of jaysmad and Brandon make it through this "Juggernaut" in less than 24 minutes. Please see the authors' notes for a detailed breakdown of the levels, a couple of glitches that were unused in the run, and a video of a camera hack for the Black Queen fight that mostly happened off-screen. Please also check out the run for Wolverine, which is a NES game, also made by LJN, where most of Wolverine's gameplay came from. | ||

| A fast-paced action platformer from Sunsoft with similarities to both Megaman and Blaster Master. What could go wrong with a mix like that! This is a ~40-second improvement to the previous author's movie, due to a discovery of a faster way to move. This run played on a real NES | ||

| This is an improvement of 13.66 seconds over laughing_gas's princess-only run of Super Mario Bros. 2 (aka. Super Mario USA). The concept for this run originated long ago because Princess was the only character not used in the normal run aiming for fastest overall time. Since then, improvements have removed Mario from that run as well. (In fact, Princess is the only character not used in the fastest warpless run either.) This run played on a real NES | ||

This movie has been obsoleted!Click here to see the new movie. This movie aims for the fastest possible time to get a score of 999999 in the Nintendo Tetris. It warps directly to the 19th level and fills half of the field quickly to be able to operate short distances in the top part of the field. From there on, it only gets tetrises (4-line clearings) until the score is maxed out. The occasional blinks in the movie are caused by rapid pausing to manipulate luck. This movie has been obsoleted!Click here to see the new movie. An extremely short game based on the Karate Kid movie. The author explains that some movements might not seem optimal, which is because the player has to avoid both entering bonus stages hidden everywhere around the levels and kicking bosses offscreen. If a boss goes offscreen, it regains all of its health, which of course isn't a good thing. Had the kid been this strong in the movie, it would certainly have been… interesting. This movie is a about a 3 second improvement over the previous run. This run played on a real NES

| The valiant knight Kuros, who has now grown eyeballs on the outside of his helmet, must again fight off the evil wizard Malkil. This task is accomplished mainly by finding an artifact in every level, giving it to a corresponding oversized animal to get into the level boss' lair, and promptly beating him up.
