This movie is a joint venture between AnS and Randil to improve the previous Darkwing Duck run by Walker Boh, resulting in 35.7 seconds saved through means of extensive optimization, luck manipulation and lag removal. We recommend reading the authors' comments for more details.

This game is about a man named Stanley Ippkiss, who finds a powerful mask known as The Mask. However evil has also become aware of this and kidnaps his girlfriend in order to obtain it.

One of the traits The Mask seems to give Stanley is extreme speed, so naturally, aside from a couple boss fights, the game play is extremely fast throughout the movie.

This is a 3 minute 30 second improvement over the previous movie by the use of a new shortcut in level 1, improved boss fights, and many other optimizations. The author left detailed comments about them.

In this movie the authors control two characters (Goofy and Max) simultaneously. This allows for a good deal of team work as one character can go get an item while the other heads for the exit. When there is no multi-tasking to do, the authors do a good job performing antics with one or both of the characters.

This is a nearly 4 minute improvement over Frenom's previous movie. Improvements come from new tricks, better teamwork, luck manipulation and optimized movements.

The teamwork of the two ninjas is remarkable. One of the ninjas often transforms into a tiger on which the other ninja can ride.

This along with Furball's "walljumping" is heavily abused in this movie, resulting in an impressive 34 second improvement to the previous movie by the same author.

This game is yet another example of Konami's fascination with Easter Island statues.

This movie is a 35.5 second improvement over the previously published movie.

The torrent file was replaced shortly after publishing because of error in file naming, and download statistics (256 complete downloads) were reset.

The route hasn't changed from the previous movie, but all movements are much more precise. The author has been able to manipulate luck favorably in almost every room by waiting or jumping differently.

This movie improves the previous attempt by over 30 seconds, which goes to show that polishing older movies can really pay off! ;)

This movie is 1:59 faster than the previous version by Ziplock.

In this one you star as Ace Harding, a detective who wakes up having no idea who or where he is. As the game progresses you discover that you have been framed for a crime you didn't commit, and must find a way to clear your name.

This is a 22 second improvement over the author's previous attempt by a slight route change and improved menu navigation.

This is a pretty straightforward and simple game, but the author was still able to improve the old movie by 15 seconds primarily by getting more speed shoes.

This run is 462 frames (7.7 seconds) faster than the previous run of the game. The improvements come mostly from using the spell Illumina on the first visit to the Gargoyle-room, as well as throwing the key1 in the lake.

The speed at which the author manipulates the menus is impressive. This is an 4.12 second improvement over the author's previous movie.

It tells a story about a boy, Tarosuke, who seeks to meet Buddha, who will decide about Tarosuke's next life.
In order to meet Buddha, Tarosuke has to do lots of good deeds which earn him "piousness".

Because there is a lot of interesting dialog in this movie, but all in Japanese, the provided AVI is made to contain English subtitles for all in-game dialog text, as well as some explanations. It should help understanding the game events as well as enjoying its weird sense of fun.

This movie is ~80 seconds faster than the previous movie by Morimoto, which was the oldest non-obsoleted movie on this site at the time, being almost 4 years old.

The goal in the game, however, is not to get the money - instead you're supposed to frame the mobsters. You do this by planting certain items in desks and stuff like that.

Overall, this movie is a lot like the other storybook TAS: super-fast menu navigation, a lot of route planning, and the general feeling of "What in the world is going on in this movie?"

This movie plays "1 player game A" (easy). Ironically, this is MORE challenging for tool-assisted gameplay.

This is a 2 minute 48 second improvement over the previous movie. Like the previous movie it uses 2 players and does not take warps.

Note: The avi of this movie was encoded using a 95 frame slower version of the movie by the same author although the subtitles misreported it as this version. If you downloaded the avi prior to 12/22/07, you have the wrong version.

This is a 20.47 sec improvement over the previous version by WalkerBoh. This is primarily due to better boss fights, and some lag reduction.
