Sega came out with X-Men in 1993, later followed by X-Men 2. Notable is the fact that this game requires a reset towards the end, something that made TASing this game impossible for a long time.

This run by Jaysmad improves his previous effort by almost half a minute via new tricks and better lag management.

Sega came out with X-Men in 1993, for Genesis. You can play as one or two of the four caracters, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Wolverine and Gambit. Other X-Men can be summoned but not played as, by going to the pause menu. In this run, Nightcrawler is used almost all through the game, except for some boss fight that needed a real man to handle the job so then Wolverine is used. The main goal is like pretty much every X-Men game... You do a couple stages, then beat Magneto.

Near the end of the game, a reset of the console is required to reach the final stage. This made the game unTASable for quite some time, since Gens did not support it.

Liquid Kids (known in Japan as Mizubaku Daibouken (ミズバク大冒険)) was released in 1990 on the Arcade and was ported to the PC Engine by Taito, in 1992. This colorful game stars the strangest animal in the kingdom. The platypus... Hipopo journeys through 7 stages to rescue his girl, Tamasun, while saving other friends at the end of each level. Armed with water bombs, he can soak enemies and ride waves to gain a bit of speed.

The author, jaysmad, uses warps in order to unite the couple as soon as possible.

Here is a TAS of the SNES version of Aladdin. The run abuses a trick with the parachute quite extensively to move faster than normal walking or jumping.

This movie is 3 seconds faster than the previous movie from an improved final boss fight.

The SNES version of Aladdin (1993) follows the plot of this Disney movie much more closely than its Genesis counterpart.

Unlike in the other movie of this game, Jasmine wasn't happy with just being rescued by Aladdin; she made him spend a little time picking up some jewelry for her on the way. This movie aims to complete the game with all the red gems collected, which takes a little more time, but adds quite a bit to the entertainment value of the run. The core trick of this TAS is to abuse the parachute extensively to move faster than normal walking or jumping.

Contrary to this movie, jaysmad doesn't use the cape at all here, making some parts a bit trickier.

The SNES version of Aladdin (1993) follows the plot of this Disney movie much more closely than its Genesis counterpart.

The core trick of this TAS is to abuse the parachute extensively to move faster than normal walking or jumping.

Thanks to numerous small improvements, the time has been lowered by 15.5 seconds compared to the author's previous attempt. We recommend reading his comments for more detail.

The SNES version of the Aladdin game completed as fast as possible. The run (ab)uses quite extensively the "parachute trick" to move faster.

This movie is over a minute faster than the previous movie by more precise use of the "turbo cape".

The Great Circus Mystery is another side-scrolling Disney platformer involving Mickey & Minnie Mouse. The author controls both characters simultaneously.

In this run, jaysmad was able to improve his time from the previous run by 3:05.38. Unlike the previous run however, this game is played on the easiest difficulty to reduce lag.
