Most of the improvement comes from a shortcut that allowed Pit to bypass most of the first fortress. There were also some strategic changes. The biggest timesavers were skipping the conversations at the beginning of levels and using the scepter more efficiently. Selected notes from author: Sliding is really annoying in MM6 because you can't jump straight out of a slide, but I have done my best while holding on to my sanity (the large amount of rerecordings is mostly due to optimization of slides). Also the Rush Jet Adaptor is a horrible, but unfortunately a necessary tool. You can't slide when using it, which is why I keep the parts where I use the jet short. The author is currently working on an improved version. | ||
