| Rather than being able to explore the world freely and sequence break to her heart's content, Samus is at the mercy of a computer's will. As a result this game is very linear with virtually no chance to collect items out of order. The in-game completion time is 0:40 and no unnecessary items are collected (0%). | ||

| Metroid completed using just one item: the morphing ball. Uses a game restart sequence (Up+A on second controller) to save time in backtracking. This is an improvement of 36.7 seconds over the previously published run, thanks to a new route and general optimisation. This movie features commentary by the author, which has been added to the encode in the form of soft subtitles. If watching embedded stream via Archive.org, you can press the nearly invisible commentary button on the top right corner to see the commentary. | ||

| Rygar is an action game involving a hero with a shield as a weapon. Normally, the hero must obtain items, such as a grappling hook, to be able to explore the world of Garloz, and he must also defeat five bosses to gain access to the final area. However, these requirements can be circumvented with glitches. Indeed, this run kills no bosses except the final boss and does very little leveling. In contrast to the any% run and the warpless run, which use the European version of Rygar, this movie uses the American version. The two ROM versions have some different glitches. For more details about the ROM choice, as well as some background explaining what in the world is going on here, see the movie comments as well as our Rygar tricks page. | ||

| Mega Man X2 makes a particularly interesting run as there are many weapons that can be used to increase mobility. Unlike the other movie, in this, FractalFusion does not collect any of X's upgrades, but does rescue Zero. The bosses near the end are no longer defeated in a single hit, showing off more of their AI. Due to the items collected, there is an easter egg at the end. | ||
