| Bay Route is a sidescrolling run 'n' gun game that is very similar to Contra. It was developed by Sega and Sunsoft and released to arcades in 1989. You control a commando named Tom as he runs across enemy territory to find and rescue some hostages. The author, NitroGenesis, controls Tom as well as a second soldier to tear through more enemies in less time on his way to rescue the hostages. | ||

| Final Fantasy Adventure is the first game in the Seiken Densetsu (聖剣伝説) series, a series best known for the Super Nintendo game Secret of Mana. It plays similarly to The Legend of Zelda, with some Final Fantasy elements added. This run is a refinement of the previous warpless run, so you get to see quite a bit of the game. | According to the dates given in the manuals, this game takes place after Wizards & Warriors III, although it was published earlier. Malkil is back at his evil deeds. He has abducted Princess Elaine and taken her to his Fortress of Fear. It's up to Kuros to save her.

| Yie Ar Kung-Fu II: The Emperor Yie-Gah is the sequel to the famous Yie Ar Kung-Fu. Both games were developed by Konami for the MSX. While the first one was a fighting game, this one is a beat 'em up. You play as Lee Young, a martial arts master and the son of the first game's hero, who must take out self-proclaimed Emperor Yie-Gah and his gang and save China from their evil influence. The author, Quibus, avoids unnecessary battles with gang members and beats down every boss to defeat Yie-Gah without taking a scratch. | ||

| The hero of Gotham City goes against the villain of Gotham City. His fists are more powerful than any weapon in the world, but he rarely kills anyone. It's not like his enemies can hurt him anyway. After all, he's the hero, and heroes are supposed to be invincible. Here Aglar has managed to improved the previous movie by 2.5 seconds. | Created by an Asian pirate developer, Koko Adventure was released in Korea in 1993. The game was planned to be released unlicensed in America as Buzz and Waldog, but was cancelled before it could hit store shelves. The game's pirate origins are obviously visible - many of the graphics are ripped from popular games like Super Mario Bros. and Sonic the Hedgehog, and the sound effects are borrowed from Tiny Toon Adventures. This is the author's second submission of this game, and improves on the previous one by skipping intermission screens faster. | ||

| Power Rangers, an immensely popular set of TV series from the 90s, naturally spawned a massive number of tie-in products. Given the nature of the show, it should not be surprising that a good number of beat-'em-up games are counted amongst their number. There are a total of five levels and two follow-up robot fights in this game. This run saves 1:21.08 over the previous publication by using new movement and attack strategies; details are available in the author's comments. Kimberly is, as always, the fastest ranger, and is used on every level. | ||
