This run demonstrates Minesweeper's Last level of 7 missions being destroyed by FractalFusion in just over 32 seconds. In fact, the face at the top of the screen is so impressed it's constantly in awe.

Lolo 2 contains four so called PRO levels that can only be accessed by inputting a level password. This movie plays those four levels quite fast.

This movie is actually a result of competition/co-operation between Baxter, Randil and Hanzou.

Obsoletes movie #343 (20:07.68)
Rating: 6.7 (27 votes)
- Aims for fastest time
- No death
- Manipulates luck
- Plays at hardest level
- Uses a level password
- Genre: Puzzle
Boulder Dash is a well known action-puzzle game where you must collect a quota of diamonds and reach the exit. This version improves upon the previous one by 25 seconds!

Normally, standing under any falling object or just getting close to an enemy means instant death, but in this movie the player fearlessly dives through heaps of falling objects and walks past enemies without a scratch.

It's quite pleasureable to watch if you have ever sat screaming at this game for getting stuck or killed repeatedly.

This playthrough uses a password to skip to level 19-1, which begins the hardest set of levels. The amoeba levels have long unavoidable waits, it is advised to fast-forward through these.

The second quest of Zelda is what you get by having completed the game once. It is more difficult than the first quest.

In his movie, Sleepz enters ZELDA as the player's name to start the 2nd quest without having to complete the game first.

An ultra-powerful gigantic mechadroid that can take one hit before exploding into confetti. Pah.

This video uses a password to go directly to the second, harder version of the game. Note that the password shown on screen is not the one actually accepted by the game - the password is entered so fast the graphic function glitches. Another (more useful) glitch is that you can stand on spikes and other sorts of materials which ultra-powerful gigantic mechadroids have a natural weakness against if you jump all the time.

The fireball form used for the first few levels more or less grants invulnerability when used constantly, as well as being a strong offensive weapon. It is not very effective against the last boss, so the author switches to a better projectile weapon before that. This switch entails that the rematches against the earlier bosses are slower, but the improvement on the last boss makes up for it.

Whoever said cats can't fly needs to watch this movie. Rockin' Kats is a nice platformer with tricky gameplay similar to Bionic Commando and Ninja Five-O.
This little movie represents the hardest part of the game - Channel X, which normally appears as a secret bonus stage after the normal ending. This TAS however does not play through the entire game, but inputs a password in the beginning to access Channel X right away.

This 1-minute movie has all the ingredients needed for a good TAS: high-speed acrobatics involving a punchgun and unmotivated violence towards various types of canine.

If you liked this movie, be sure to also check out the movie that beats the actual game.

Some longlegged dude has had his future wife kidnapped by Ku Klux Klan wannabe space aliens. Between the levels they taunt him by showing pictures of her in risqué positions on wide-screen TV, while dancing in front of it. (I wish I were making this up, but NES games can be pretty weird sometimes.)

This movie uses a password to get the hardest difficulty, thus not having to finish the game twice.

A high speed racing game featuring rodents from another (nearby) planet. Although the author doesn't classify the velocity potential of the motorcycle as a programming error in the game, the speed at which he rips through the courses may make you wonder.

A password is used to skip to the final round at Super Hard difficulty with fully upgraded Engine and Shot parts.

Obsoletes movie #1081 (28:24.0)
Rating: 7.4 (17 votes)
- Aims for fastest time
- Uses no warps
- Plays at hardest level
- Uses a level password
- Genre: Shooter
As you might know, Konami realised they went a little overboard with the difficulty of the arcade version of Gradius III, so the SNES port got noticeably easier (and laggier). However, it still remains one of the hardest and most unforgiving shoot 'em ups released in its era.

This is Cpadolf's take at the shmupping carnage, resulting in a significant improvement in both speed and style over the previous movie by Krocketneo. In total, 2 minutes 53 seconds are saved thanks to lag reduction and faster boss fights. The author also kills a greater percentage of enemies (still not fully 100%, though — read the comments for more details).

The game is completed in Arcade mode (still a far cry from the actual arcade game), which is accessed by tapping A on the main menu screen. It is strongly recommended to read the congratulatory text appearing after the end credits. ;)
