Just when you thought all the early Bionic Commando games were TAS'd and done with, Mukki brings Bionic Commando back to life, as if it were a long dead World War II dictator resurrected by a madman as part of a plan for world domination.

In this game, Mukki demonstrates grappling and kicking ability, whilst avoiding hordes of soldiers futilely attempting to prevent Joe from doing his duty and destroying their weapons of medium sized destruction.

This run of the original arcade game completes the first cycle 1:55.96 faster than the previous run of the NES port. Reaching the end credits requires a second run-through of the game which would be identical to the first run-through; this is omitted in this run.

In Spinmaster, known in Japan as Miracle Adventure (ミラクルアドベンチャー), you play as Johnny and Tom, two treasure seekers. They have to save Johnny's girlfriend and gather map pieces in order to find the biggest treasure in the world! Along the way, they must fight past lots of quirky henchmen, large bosses, and more, all accompanied by cartoony graphics and stereotypical cowboy voice clips.

In this game, Johnny and Tom can use several different types of weapons, such as the elements of ice, fire, and thunder. They can collect a limited number of super attacks, denoted by the letter "B" under their health bars, to hurt everything on the screen and damage bosses heavily. Also, health does not refill between levels.

In this run, DarkKobold uses all 4 ninja turtles to freak the foot soldiers, mangle the mousers, total the Technodrome, and kick Krang and The Shredder back to Dimension-X in a little over 12 minutes.

This run plays through all four "missions" (episodes) back-to-back, as playing through the first three missions is required to unlock the fourth mission.

Using a series of glitches, Keen completes only four stages to get to the end game, only one of which takes any significant length of time, and destroys the Quantum Explosion Dynamo, the core of the Omegamatic in the impossibly short time of 2:42. In the process, he manages to inadvertently prevent the Shikadi from accomplishing their escape (though you have to watch the ending very closely to figure out that this has happened here).

Although this is not the first submitted DOS movie, it has the distinction of being the first to be published, thanks to use of the recently approved emulator JPC-RR.

Before playing the movie, no matter the format, it is suggested to lower the volume of your speakers, headphones or earphones, since this game has loud sound effects!

Joe Osugi, bizarre 'anti-terrorist ninja', is called in to assist the local police, who seem to be completely useless in rescuing some hostages.

The game is basically a series of rooms connected together. Your job is to rescue the hostages and then escape the stage through the red door. You have in your arsenal a three-level shuriken, a sword, and a grappling hook similar to the one from Bionic Commando. Joe also has two special abilities: to make himself invincible and to attack all enemies on screen.

This new version by Cardboard is 1 minutes and 31 seconds faster than the previous one by Nitsuja, containing even more ropeswinging acrobatics and ninja madness.

This run features an impressive improvement of 6 minutes over the preceding movie.

On the rare occasions we get to watch Sonic, we get to enjoy seeing him moving through walls, charging up for another dash, or making short work of bosses.

Besides the super fast speed itself, the speed also provides Sonic an ability (glitch) to pass through platforms and walls under certain conditions.

Look no further! In this extremely high-speed run, Mukki demonstrates how to break the sound barrier and why Sonic is the fastest character in the video game universe.

The author doesn't collect any of the Chaos Emeralds in this movie, but it demonstrates almost every single move that Sonic is capable of in this game.

It is recommended to read the author's novel to see why he chose to do many of the things he did.

In this run, mmbossman heavily abuses a technique that allows him to maintain a very high speed throughout each level, stopping only to rescue civilians or disable bombs. However, since speed isn't as important in boss fights, Spidey also gets a chance to show off some of his acrobatic and martial arts skills.

However, in this run the author doesn't care about stealth at all and runs through the levels as fast as possible.

FractalFusion has also created a TAS for the game's GBA sequel.

Through strategic use of save-and-restore and a glitch allowing rapid diagonal movement and zipping, Wario gets away with all the loot in this Hard mode run (the hardest difficulty available from the outset) 22:30.68 faster than before.

We apologize for the less-than-average video quality in this AVI, but this game is really unfriendly to MPEG4 compression utilized by codecs such as XviD and H.264.

In this movie the author abuses many glitches to take massive shortcuts in the game (including skipping an entire level). He also intentionally kills off the character several times in order to avoid backtracking.

Rayman, the original flagship character of the now-renowned company UbiSoft, has no arms or legs, but that doesn't stop him from making surprisingly quick progress through this slow-paced game.

The authors improved the previous movie by 1:19.40, because of a new route and the fact that SpongeBob has mastered the art of flying a new glitch that allows him to jump very high. This run is a collaboration between the previous two authors, CoolKirby and jlun2, and nitrogenesis, who discovered the jump glitch and made two submissions before being bested by jlun2's attempt. This run is a whopping 13.09 faster than the best attempt by a single author. Teamwork is strength!

This speedrun abuses the game's gravity mechanic heavily, essentially making it a cuter version of Metal Storm.

As a ghost, the protagonist has the ability to possess enemies with a selection of different abilities, but that's rarely seen in this run.

In order to pull off the rescue, three keys are needed; these are retrieved in this run so as to obtain the best possible ending.

This run starts off with walking by enemies, showing how incompetent criminals are at firing guns. It proceeds to aerial combat a bit reminiscent of Gradius, further demonstrating that even when criminals fire, their weapons are no match for Batman's Batwing, even when piloted by a Batman impostor. The big finale here shows that as evil as the Joker is, he like all others cannot withstand rocket grenades indefinitely.

This game is one of those grappling hook games, with which Batman can just swing through areas quickly. Much of the improvement comes from bunnybathopping Batman's way through levels and somewhat improved boss fights.

In this version, the player plays as the Battletoad Zitz on a quest to rescue the other two Toads, Rash and Pimple, from the Dark Queen. This game has only 9 stages, as opposed to 12 in the NES version. However, unlike the NES version of the game, there are no warps, and there is no two-player option. There are also fewer time-saving glitches. That doesn't stop Cardboard, though, from beating up tons of enemies and completing the game very quickly.

Although the game looks straightforward, it requires a lot of precision and a bit of luck manipulation to play it this well.

In Kung-Fu Master, the player displays frightening reflexes that would be enough to obliterate any opponent.

The Game Boy series is a little different from the NES series in that there are only four Robot Masters to fight at the start. Those four are borrowed from the NES game of the same number, while four more Robot Masters from the next NES game guard Dr. Wily’s fortress. Game Boy Wily also likes to have a backup fortress in space after his first one is beaten. Another recurring concept in the Game Boy games is a ninth robot boss unique to the game who gives you a new weapon that is usually the only weapon effective against the final boss.

This run doesn't really perform any mind boggling glitches like some other Mega Man runs on this site, but it still has the same classic action, and pulls off some very unlikely maneuvers that are enjoyable to watch.

For those of you who enjoy listening to the music, the background music in this one is quite good, and the sound quality is much better than previous Mega Man games for the system.

That being said, Metroid II doesn't keep track of the collected items' percentage. Moreover, the game has two excessive Energy tanks and an additional copy of each beam. It's been agreed that the author should take all the E-tanks, and at least one copy of each beam. However, due to the apparent linearity of this game, collecting so many additional items doesn't make the movie dramatically slower.

This run features the use of a pause glitch to allow extreme jumps, saving time from normal platforming or creating otherwise impossible routes to beat the stages in unintended ways.

This Contra game combines elements from the original Contra and Super C while adding some elements into one action packed game. Watch our hero cruise through 5 levels of steadily increasing difficulty yet still crushing those aliens in record time.

This movie is a 12 second improvement over the previous movie. Improvements come from use of the homing gun and from a bug that allows horizontal screen wrapping.

Mario must travel through the four Kingdoms of Birabuto, Muda, Easton, and Chai once again to rescue Daisy. Although this time around, they're packed with much more enemies than before.

The Smurfs was a once popular comic book and TV series that spread across the world in many languages.

In this game, the player takes control of the main Tiny Toons as they attempt to stop Montana Max from breaking Babs Bunny's dreams of becoming a big star.

This is a 30.28 second improvement over the previous run.

It follows a rabbit-like creature called Yacopu on his quest to retrieve a flower and his kidnapped girlfriend so that peace will return to his world. Along the way he gains abilities including turning into a ball and a big, scary godzilla-like rabbit. This is an improvement of 31 seconds to the previous movie, mostly thanks to a pause trick which helps keeping his flying speed and better luck manipulation.

Wario, having been kicked out of Mario's castle in his first appearance, decides, in his eternal greed, to search for a statue stolen by the nefarious Captain Syrup and the Black Sugar Gang. Along the way this would normally involve the occasional side quest for hidden treasures and collecting as many coins as he can possibly amass.

Here, however, Wario decides this isn't worth his time and proceeds as quickly as possible towards the final confrontation - going so far as to skip entire levels and otherwise make a mockery of the game engine.

This movie is a 7:35.61 improvement over the previous movie, thanks to even more level skipping and further optimized levels.

Please note that the torrent was replaced shortly after publication, as this movie was originally published with an encode of an earlier version of this movie.

Unlike later 8-bit Sonic games, there are significant differences in levels between the SMS version and the Game Gear version; here the latter is used primarily for faster boss fights.

This version is different in some important ways. For instance, you must collect a white key in each stage to advance to the next stage. The chain whip is lost after each boss battle. Some subweapons can be bought from sitting bystanders in white or red clothes.

The game is broken down into 52 short areas, each of them having a separate timer. Because of this, the author aims to optimize the movie for shortest in-game time. Each stage is given a rank based on how fast the stage was completed; this run gets all S Ranks.

We have seen several submissions for this game here but this is the first one to be published. The author shows off fancy fighting with Yoshi on the hardest difficulty. Rather than the usual goal of speed, this movie aims to be as entertaining as possible in the tradition of all fighting games here.

Another submission by the same author but which is based upon fastest completion time instead, can be watched via emulator movie at its submission page. There are also several other submissions of various quality that can be watched on an emulator.

Here, the Yoshis stuff their faces so quickly one wonders if this is an adventure or an all-you-can-eat banquet.

This short glitched movie beats the game in a mere 8 minutes and 20 seconds. It is achieved by collecting souls and setting important flags just by zipping around the castle, allowing the player to complete it without even seeing the last boss.

Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, the third game in the series for the DS, takes a different direction from its direct predecessors in that it is more of a stage-based game, similar to the earliest entries in the series, rather than the "Metroidvania"-style first established by Symphony of the Night.

Lastly, there are also faster movement methods used. As a result, you will (un)fortunately hear a lot less of Jonasan! Sharotto! Jonasan! Sharotto! Jonasan! Sharotto! in this version.

Watch Bill Rizer embark on a new colorful adventure in the shirtless land, this time making even less sense than ever before. To quote the game's ending: Whatever the truth may have been, it was lost to time as the invaders became a mere footnote in the pages of history. A footnote which read: they sure blew up good.
