| Formerly known as Halloween Harry (also the name of the protagonist), Alien Carnage (1993) follows our hero as he single-handedly fights off an invasion of aliens intent on zombifying the populace while rescuing a large number of hostages they have taken. It is fast-paced at the general expense of control quality. This run plays through all four "missions" (episodes) back-to-back, as playing through the first three missions is required to unlock the fourth mission. | ||

Commander Keen 5: The Armageddon Machine (1991) is a part of the popular Commander Keen saga, developed by id Software. It is a direct continuation of the previous episode, in which Keen has learned from the Oracle of Gnosticus IV that the evil Shikadi plan to blow up the galaxy with their doomsday device, the Omegamatic (It slices! It dices! It causes a 100,000 light year-diameter quantum explosion!). Naturally, he sets out to sabotage the machine and stop the Shikadi. Using a series of glitches, Keen completes only four stages to get to the end game, only one of which takes any significant length of time, and destroys the Quantum Explosion Dynamo, the core of the Omegamatic in the impossibly short time of 2:42. In the process, he manages to inadvertently prevent the Shikadi from accomplishing their escape (though you have to watch the ending very closely to figure out that this has happened here). Although this is not the first submitted DOS movie, it has the distinction of being the first to be published, thanks to use of the recently approved emulator JPC-RR.

| Dangerous Dave is a simple platforming game by one of the designers of the famous game DOOM. The goal is to pick up the trophy sitting somewhere in the level and then to get to the door. Do this 10 times and the game is finished.
Before playing the movie, no matter the format, it is suggested to lower the volume of your speakers, headphones or earphones, since this game has loud sound effects!

| This table from Epic Pinball was widely distributed as shareware in the mid 1990s. The stated objective is to "[b]ring the android to life!" The author of this run does just that, maxing out all of the game counters and achieving a very impressive final score. | ||

| Hocus Pocus, published by Apogee Software (developed by Moonlight Software) in 1994 sees a "puny" dropout wizard setting on a quest to collect crystals which will make him powerful. On his way, Hocus is ignoring important information given to him by Terexin while defeating enemies and bosses so that Land of Lattice will become more safe to travel. By completing four tests, he will also be accepted into the Council of Wizards and marry Popopa, daughter of Terexin who leads the Council. IsraeliRD completes the second of these tests in 13:48.61 minutes, while the player doesn't care about the enemies and get through a horde of them without taking a lot of damage. You can check the author's comments to learn more about his techniques. The same player did a run for the first episode as well. | ||

| Jazz Jackrabbit is one of the earliest products released by what was then known as Epic MegaGames, better known these days for producing the Unreal engine. It was viewed initially as being a pastiche of the Sonic the Hedgehog games and arguably developed along those lines, bearing much of the same fast platformer action. This run completes a special Christmas episode called Holiday Hare. This is the 1995 version of this episode. A run has been made for the 1994 version of Holiday Hare. There is also a run from the original game. | ||

| If you've been in Europe long enough, you've probably heard of the Lada car company. However, you probably haven't heard of this relatively obscure tie-in game, involving racing - yes, you guessed it - a Lada... which happens to have a rocket launcher and machine gun (those are almost certainly not standard features). | ||

| Skyroads is a short game where one controls racer on tracks containing lots of bottomless pits and obstacles, but our author doesn't care about that, he just bounces to the music and blast through levels. Don't blink. This second version of the run is 2.65 seconds faster than the first. | ||

| Not satisfied with regular Skyroads, the developers decided to create a new set of significantly shorter yet excessively difficult tracks under the excuse of a holiday theme. Here, you can feel vindicated that you don't have to play through those tracks yourself. | ||
![]() | DOS Space Quest IV: Roger Wilco and the Time Rippers (USA) in 07:36.51 by c-square.

| Space Quest IV: Roger Wilco and the Time Rippers is the fourth installment of the Space Quest adventure series, and the first Space Quest game with point-and-click gameplay, as compared to its text-based predecessors. In this game, Roger Wilco is thrown into the future at Space Quest XII, and must stop Vohaul, whose consciousness lives inside another person. To do so, he must time-travel within the future (Space Quest X and XII) and to the past (Space Quest I) to gain information needed to achieve this goal. The author, c-square, completes this game using major sequence breaks that are almost impossible to perform unassisted without abusing saves. To help with this TAS, the source code of JPC-rr was modified to support mouse input fully. See the submission text for details. | ||
