In this final game of the series, Alex Kidd's girlfriend has been kidnapped and he needs to go rescue her.

In addition to his bizarre ability to use poles and ropes to turn into a fireball, he also apparently has the ability to use ladders to warp through solid walls.

Kenseiden follows the story of Hayato, a samurai looking to retrieve five ability-granting scrolls and kill some evil warlocks. Normally this involves battling through sixteen levels, the last several of which are very difficult without the abilities gained from the scrolls. Here AngerFist foregoes all but two of the scrolls and heads directly for the final round.

Monsters have blown up and escaped from a top secret Psychic Research facility and stolen one of the lovely lab assistants as well. Dr. Knavik gives Lucia his precious ESP Booster to save her twin sister Cecile.

By collecting various items on her travels, the ESP Booster grants Lucia various powers (kind of like Mega Man...) to destroy her enemies and also navigate quickly through levels. This is exacerbated for the author by poor hit detection and finicky input control. Input is only allowed one time every four frames. Nevertheless the end result is a fast paced and varied movie.

Madfox Daimyojin must be stopped, and only Psycho Fox and his band of various animal friends can stop him. Each character has different characteristics, and naturally the fastest one, Tiger, is employed in this run.

Top speed is mixed with warps to finish the game amazingly quickly, probably before you can figure out what's going on.

Sonic 2 for Sega Master System in 18:44.28 with all emeralds. Unlike many Sonic games, acquiring emeralds is done within normal rather than bonus levels, and getting all of them allows you to play the true final level.

Trivia: this game slightly predates the MegaDrive/Genesis version, so features the official first appearance of Sonic's flying mutant fox friend, Tails.

The Wonderboy series games were Sega Master Systems most popular and best selling games. In this one, the nearly naked main character, Tom-Tom, must rescue his beloved girlfriend (we will call her bikini-Sue) from the wicked monster (it probably doesn't have a name).

Wonderboy is the original version of the NES Hudson's Adventure Island.

Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap (AKA Dragon's Curse and Monster World II Dragon No Wana in Japan) is a 1989 platform game by Sega and Westone. This game is a direct sequel to Wonder Boy in Monster Land and starts in the final lair of the previous game. It is widely considered to be one of the best games produced for the Sega Master System.
