- Heavy glitch abuse
- Genre: Platform
Earthworm Jim is the unlikely story of an earthworm who finds a suit with super powers and goes on a rampage to protect Earth and his puppy Peter(?). The game follows the absurd spirit of the story: for example, the suit can use Jim for a whip, there is a boss who attacks by vomiting fish, you fight lawyers in hell, and in one level, you swing on bungee cords made out of snot.

This movie improves the first run of this game, which was done on the Genesis version, by 16.94 seconds. However, the actual improvement is much larger since the Special Edition contains additional levels that are also played through in this TAS.

This is a Sega CD sequel to Out of This World starring Buddy, an alien. The game takes place immediately after the original. Some scenes have graphic violence, so the TAS is not suitable for everyone.

Sonic the Hedgehog CD was developed to showcase a new Genesis/Mega Drive peripheral, the Sega CD. Likewise, this movie is the first of its kind on TASVideos and showcases the newly updated Gens emulator that allows for making stable movies of Sega CD games.

The game is markedly different than other Sonic games; aside from "improved" graphics and sounds, each level has 2 to 4 alternate versions that correspond to different time periods. Sonic can move between them to affect the gameplay and ending.

This run is approximately 37 seconds faster than upthorn and nitsuja's previous run thanks to various optimization and minor route changes. For more information on the improvements, the BIOS files used and a run for the Japanese version of the game, please read the author's submission notes.

There are two video encode files, the first recorded with the Japanese region music and the second with the American region music.

Kyle Reese clearly had a difficult time trying to save Sarah Connor in the hit movie The Terminator. But when the Sega CD based tie-in's difficulty is set to Super!, you wonder just how the hell Kyle made it two steps before dying. It really makes you feel like Kyle must have felt in a hopeless future where everything can kill within a few seconds a few frames. You know that a game is too hard when even the TAS looks like it is struggling just to keep the character alive.
Please read the welcome page if you haven't already done so. It explains the rules and methods that apply to all of these movies, particularly the use of savestates and frame advance. Also refer to our Glossary to understand terms we use, such as TAS or other unfamiliar terms.
